Cool concept and fluid gameplay, although I find it annoying how you can't see entire arena while being in the center and get shot from invisible enemies. Also it would be better if enemies had a tiny delay after spawning before shooting.
Void Prison is a dynamic, endless arcade twin-stick shooter that immerses players in a continuously contracting arena. Your objective is to survive by combating the enemies that appear around you while avoiding being engulfed by the void. Achievements can be completed to unlock new skins and power-ups, allowing you to climb the leaderboards. This game offers an exhilarating twist: the primary threat is the encroaching ring border. Contact with the border results in instant elimination, and as it shrinks over time, enemy projectiles are designed to drive you toward it, while defeating enemies actually expands the ring. The gameplay is fast-paced, featuring unlockable power-ups and a diverse array of enemies. Although I have only invested approximately 1.5 hours into the game, I felt compelled to leave a positive review. I highly recommend Void Prison and eagerly anticipate returning to the excitement it offers.
All hail the RNG! I have more play time by $team is siht and the game crashed. I guess it maybe gets fun at some point, but it was just annoying and dull and I couldnt see it changing from what the screenshots show. The boring art mixed with the tiny area and very short game rounds makes for zero fun. If you are lucky you will get some drops/upgrades, and if you are lucky you wont get flung into a wall 2 seconds later, and if you are lucky you might enjoy it. After the game crashed and I went to look at the store page reviews, I saw that it had not given me the option of writing a review, so $team did not register the game was playing. I had the choice of playing a few rounds and clocking up enough time to write my initial impressions, or leaving the game running on the menu and doing anything else for 10 minutes..... I chose "anything else"
Brilliant twin stick shooter with 7 hours battery life. Should be VERIFIED as it plays perfectly on Steam Deck
awsome game, makes much fun
tried many times but to hard and more luck you need..... no not for me
Don't be fooled. It looks simple and it is. But a challenge for sure. Worth your time and money for a fun little game. The runs are very quick and when you get hit, you are pushed back instead of taking damage. If you the touch the "void ring" you lose.
