About
You play as Marcus Everett, a veteran tank operator and machinery expert, who has withdrawn from duty after the tragic loss of his 12-year-old daughter. His grief is interrupted by an unexpected call from Void Energies, offering him a lucrative contract: return to the driver’s seat, and put his skills to use in exchange for a life-changing paycheck.
Navigate the darkness using The Mole’s infrared camera and radar, uncovering hidden dangers and secrets.
Immerse yourself in dread through a first-person perspective that heightens the claustrophobic atmosphere.
Survive under pressure by managing The Mole’s vital systems — battery, oil, and coolant. Extracting crystals drains your power, so timely deliveries to the dock are essential.
Operate heavy machinery with intense, tactile gameplay as you drill deeper into the void.
Face psychological horror with hallucinations, fear, and escalating tension that test your sanity.
Experience gritty visuals that amplify the oppressive, industrial tone of the world.

Definitely atmospheric and induces some tension, although if you read the in-game manual of how to operate the mole (your subterranean mining vehicle) and keep an eye on the moles fluid levels (and stock up whenever you are back at base), the gameplay is very easy - which takes away from the tension. Unfortunately the gameplay is also very repetitive; you essentially have to go on ten very similar outings to find and mine one crystal at a time. The only thing that differs gameplay-wise between outings is that you have to navigate to different parts of what is essentially a maze to find the crystals. Occasionally the routine is broken up by small on-rail sequences that do enhance the overall experience by breaking up the monotony, but don't affect actual gameplay at all. I'm really on the fence on thumbs up vs down. Positives are atmosphere and tensions. Negative is the repetitive gameplay. However I do understand that the repetitiveness is part of the point of recreating the feeling that you are doing a menial job, doing your duty etc, in order to give more meaning to the end of the story. In the end, I think it deserves a thumbs up if you look at it more as an atmospheric creepy short story (and where gameplay is secondary), in which it succeeds. Also to support and encourage a solo indie developer.
💜
Decent little horror game.
Sehr, sehr tolles, kleines Horror-Game.
Great little one shot game. Doesn't take long to complete but for a solo dev doing and indie cosmic horror, It's really enjoyable. Interesting and easy to digest storyline. Simple but engaging gameplay. Would personally have liked a little more play into the sanity elements and more challenge when it came to preserving resources, but it was still very enjoyable none-the-less. If you are after a cosmic horror that takes a few hours with elements of Sanity, Haunted past, and a creeping threat that is ever present... this game is it!
The controls of the Mole are awful. You have to click one navigational button at a time. You run out of oil way to quickly. I couldn't make it 20 minutes.
Fun little game, quick to finish. Priced accordingly.
This game has an incredible atmosphere-- like seriously, the atmospheric tension is palpable. Opening the door to your mining vehicle, refueling it with oil or coolant, charging it, mining, even just walking around Pit 19-- every sound's just got this "weighty" 'oomf' behind it. It's extremely satisfying. The noises you occasionally hear in the Pit or as you drive around the void only adds to the unsettling nature of the environment the main character finds himself in. I understand the reason why you can only take one ore back at a time-- because if you could take more than one, the game would be incredibly short for what's already, at most, an hour and a half long experience. Not to mention with the way events are likely scripted, there'd be a lot of sequence breaks and things would overall be just a little too jarring. From the second I booted up the game and finished the "tutorial" by retrieving that first ore, I knew exactly how to make getting through the MC's ordeal a piece of cake. There are two storage cabinets on the mole, stock up both with oil and coolant each. Always carry an oil canister in one hand because oil drains faster than coolant, and leave your other hand free for retrieving, packaging, and delivering ore. If you prepare yourself in this manner, you will breeze through the entirety of the game. I'm unsure if the developer wanted the game to be this easy or if he cares for such a thing at all, but I'll leave my thoughts here: I think that at least one storage cabinet should go, with the remaining storage cabinet having its size reduced to 1 instead of 2. Not only would doing this up the stakes by introducing failure as a possibility, it would also add risks you'd have to consider-- such as whether to explore or return to the pit to resupply. Anyone who gameovers and proceeds to not recommend this game and complain about the way the game handles oil and coolant right now: don't make me laugh. It is literally designed, at present, to be as accommodating as humanly possible without straight up giving you infinite oil and coolant. If you somehow lose and go to cry about it, you truly have a skill issue and should consider honestly just uninstalling the game, because you, against all odds, managed to fail in a game that gives you the upper hand from the beginning. God himself can't take the wheel of your mole to save you-- nor would he want to-- and the Devil doesn't bother sitting in the passenger seat alongside you, because he knows you're going to drive yourself directly into Hell without him even lifting a finger. Actual buffoons. Oh right, for a solo developer, fantastic game. I enjoyed the voice acting, the game mechanics, and the story a lot. I wish I got to see more, but I know this is meant to be dessert, not a full course meal. Good pricing, also.
its ok, not super good doe, felt like it couldve been much better tbh i saw this in my discovery queue and thought it looked cool so i decided to sometime later get it. thought it'd be like iron lung. and it kinda was, but also not really as good its just that it feels like it tries to be like iron lung but fails where iron lung succeeded? the horrors and scares feel a bit too forced and doesnt really build up to much. the world building and endings feel like an after-thought, kinda same for everything besides the whole concept of the game itself its also just kinda boring and the voice acting feels really off and weirdly ai-generated? im not sure if it is though just watch a playthrough if ur really interested. not gonna bash the game much since its made by one guy, the game's impressive for being made by one guy though
a very good game with a very good story I definitely must grab It is a pretty easy game and can be a pretty good horror at time..
