Virus Kombat is a "template flip", that is to say, it's a "game" that has been produced by copying a game template or using a game construction kit, and changing a few things. In this case it was a game construction kit/template for doing a simple arcade themed 2D top down retro pixel twin brawler/shooter with an arcade cabinet/screen filter shtick slapped around it offensively. It's ripping off a basic game template from the craptastic "Blender Game Engine" which was a massive failure. I don't mean to cast negative impressions on open source software, but the people behind this engine, despite their altruistic motives, must have been aware this would be abused to create game industry ruining rubbish like Virus Kombat. I am sure if they had known Virus Kombat would be an indirect outcome of this engine, they would have cancelled it. This is deplorably low quality bundle trash. No professional effort was made in terms of game development, copying a template/using a game construction kit requires no talent, and unsurprisingly produces products that have little to no value as games, especially when compared to the work of professional developers who create genuine products for gamers. It's almost as bad as an outright asset flip. This is nothing but a lazy, greedy cash grab and should be avoided.
A decent arcade game about collecting items and avoiding collecting other items without touching enemies. Simple as that. If you like such games, then it's ok.
2/10 sort of Passive PAC-MAN, survival like game in a closed box. overall is missing entertainment,
QUE CRIATIVO! Um jogo arcade com um tema atual! Parabéns!
immediately love it. it has a nice UI (the retro arcade cabinet, the joystick movement), satisfying to play with a bluetooth controller. i would have paid more for it, regardless of how it was made. my thumbs got tired of playing before i did. <3
