It's for the best anime is not real. Every time it reminds me how much I deserve to be in jail.

Terrible, awful program. Probably the jankiest, most poorly-performing VR app I've ever used. This app seems to be positioning itself as a competitor or alternative to VRChat, or at the very least trying to fill some similar niches, and while VRChat is a pretty clunky program that can often be kinda unstable, VirtualCast makes VRChat looks like the most stable VR program ever made. One of the more recent reviews says the performance is better than VRChat and that's one of the most laughably untrue things I've read in a while, complete and total lie. The graphics are constantly tearing, stuttering, jittering, ESPECIALLY any time you enter a portal, the entire duration of the between-room load screen, and it continues HEAVILY for several minutes after the world loads. It's enough to make your eyes hurt real bad after just a few hours (compared to VRChat, which I can play for around 6 hours before my eyes start to feel tired or sore). The movement is basically copped right from VRChat but like, five degrees worse, it's incredibly hard to position yourself where you want to be. By default, the game locks you into this narrow FOV tunnel-vision any time you use controller movement, which you can turn off but as soon as you do, you realize this is to hide the ever-present tearing creeping in at all edges of your vision any time you use the controller movement, although with the regular default fixed-position turning it's not too bad, however if you turn on smooth movement be prepared for an immediate headache because the graphics will be tearing themselves to pieces all over the place any time you try to turn more than a few degrees left or right (and this was my experience with rooms that were completely empty, I can't imagine how it must be with other avatars around!). The way the game handles vertical collision with your avatar is also pretty funky and almost gave me motion sickness a few times (To elaborate, in VRChat when you run into a wall with collision, it only halts controller movement, you can still clip parts of your avatar through that surface, and even peer through it if you lean your head into it. This may sound counter-intuitive, but it's an equilibrium thing. In VirtualCast, if any part of your avatar hits a collide-able vertical surface, it will push your whole avatar away from that surface, which threw off my sense of my footing in real space very badly.) On top of all that, this app would not cooperate with OBS at all, gave me all kinds of problems just setting it up that I've never run into with VRChat. It's also worth noting that while the game has an "English" option, it only changes the log-in screen and the menus, all the in-game text is still only Japanese, including the tutorial!! It may be free, but so is VRChat, and VRChat will give you FAR fewer headaches than this will. Save yourself the frustration, don't bother with it. I used VirtualCast primarily to access the MikuLand VR event, which itself was also pretty disappointing, so if you're looking at installing this to take part in MikuLand, I'd honestly just skip it and go listen to Happy Coaster on repeat a few times, you'll have a much better experience.
