Revenue comes from in-game items and microtransactions, which our price-based model doesn't estimate. The player count below is how many people own it, not what they spent.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.

Forcing identity verification on users to access content in a game where anonymity is encouraged _and_ getting them to pay for it is an amazing move. I can finally uninstall this with no regrets.
Privacy infringements, terrible method of verification, public worlds are full of kids and private worlds are full of friends (you don't have a key). It's not 2017 anymore. Terrible way to spend your time now. That's the short. Here's the long. What a farce, Verification was just intrusive information gathering that I have to pay for to prove I'm an adult. Now the team is going to "assure" that I am of age based on what exactly? "Feeling"? And what if they get it wrong? What if you all assume something incorrectly? How do I change your "assured" views if you're wrong? By paying and sending my information in? ♥♥♥♥ that. What if you incorrectly assume someone who isn't of age is? That'd be definitely worse no? To think I have to verify my age after 9 years of having my account by sending my information into a database that is bound to eventually get leaked is vile. I'm not trusting any companies with my personal information. I've played since 2017 off and on. All I can tell the dev team with this topic, and I mean this, as I feel betrayed to my core, shove it. "Assurance", yeah, I've been assured now that there's no point in playing if the dev team uses such a wishy-washy approach to making sure someone is of age. Nah, shove it. To follow up, I don't particularly want Verification to begin with, I don't like the idea of underage individuals playing VRC as a whole, but that's on parents. Children are the parent's responsibility. The company and I should not be responsible for the lack of attention paid toward their children. It's a ridiculous idea.

Basically just a pool of pedophiles and racists, but there are some good moments 5/10
This "game" is determined to steal your information for their overreaching age verification and they do not listen to community feedback on anything. VRChat Inc. is a very nanny-state loving company that wants to punish you for existing and the players are the lowest of priorities for them. VRChat has consistently lost features and is frankly obsolete compared to many similar games both technically and socially. Lots of other similar games do a life sim or give your own home world more meaning and progression than this one for example. Avoid
Played it a bit few years back Devs nowadays are more focused on censorship and curbstomping free speech than on making a good game Shame.
welcome to the deepest ring of digital hell! you have: - mean people tossing slurs left and right - furries - a social-centered game that doesn't even have private messaging - cool avatars, sometimes - a whopping 3 worlds that get over 500 players and everything else is left to rot in the dust if you don't look for it - cool people, SOMETIMES - the experience of every public instance feeling like the world's ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ crossover episode known to man (seriously, i watched people dressed up as different spidermen start dissing on tadc characters. funniest ♥♥♥♥ i've ever seen) - YOUR FRIENDS!!!! YAYY!!!!1 i'm split on this game, but for the lack of a price tag, you can't really expect a top tier experience. this game is not for the weak of heart. you will be insulted by anyone mean-spirited enough just "because it's vrchat" and you will have to come to terms with people being ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ in public instances sometimes. so don't take offense, it happens to everyone so often it's lost most of its meaning. ignore them, block them, mute them, you've got a few tools to make your experience better, you might as well use them. regardless, like any other game, it's always more fun if you've got friends to tag along. bring a pal! it makes the experience much more pleasant. [note: this review has been somewhat overexaggerated for comedic purposes. don't take my word as final, everyone has their own opinion. i'm just voicing my own in a funnier tone.]
Between requiring payment and government ID for full access, the arbitrary and erroneous enforcement of rules, terrible customer service, mass removal of content that seems to be filtered by AI rather than actual people, causeing a massive purge of content, and just overall decline of the service in recent times. I'm gonna have to put a no.
Downloaded this because I watched a Oneyplays video and thought it was funny but It's just Furry ♥♥♥♥
this game is filled with lust
one of the only social platforms where you cant actually socialize. probably have some of the most low life human beings youll ever stumble across. pedos and racists everywhere. and dont even get me started on groomers.. public instances makes you feel like youre trapped, and nobody even bothers to talk with you. however, i did find this game enjoyable back when COVID was a thing, the community was much better than and youd actually make some friends. unless you come here with someone you already know, its pretty hard not to feel lonely here. the vrc team is also awful, with some moderators being exposed in the past for being hella problematic. this game is honestly just a pool of them. theres no way of avoiding pedos here. its like they own this platform atp. i feel like it couldve been way more enjoyable if they actually cared about their community, removing modding in a SOCIAL game is diabolical. and the age verification thing is clearly not helpful. everything about this platform is a mess, i really wouldnt recommend getting on here unless its for private instances with your friends.
