About
Virtual Towers Online is an unofficial free-to-play realistic, to-scale replica of the Alton Towers theme park created in the Unreal engine. It is designed to be as close as possible using architectural plans and thousands of photo references. It has been in development for over 10+ years with a very small team, allowing players to roam freely around the park riding and getting to operate some of the available attractions in the game.
Please note! This is an ongoing work-in-progress game so many features will change over time and get added or removed. There is a key shown on the maps in the game that shows which rides are available to ride and what kind of operation mode they have, for example, "Nemesis" is fully automatic so players can ride it without interacting with it, or can take complete control to operate it, whereas "Ripsaw" has only a manual control mode and whilst can be ridden, has no auto mode.
There are likely to be bugs within the builds despite our best attempts at trying to remove any possibility of any issues you may experience however being such a small team, things get missed. It is unoptimized, we know it has a long way to go but it will take time with so few people working it, please give us a chance!
The end goal is to have a multi-player environment where users from all over the world can interact with each other throughout the entire park, players can take on roles at attractions to operate it together, as well as a career mode where skills are developed while playing.

Performance is awful, the park feels lifeless and none of the rides seem to be accessible, but I managed to get into to the toilet and it was very clean. 👍
its very realistic just make sure ur pc can handle it so it doesnt lag!
-Game controls strangely -No mouse sensitivity -No ability to speed up simulation to avoid spending >30m waiting for every train to unload.. then open... then close... then dispatch. Then, when the ride's over, you're just trapped onride in real time until your train finally reenters the station. -No ability to zoom in unless you use the extremely sluggish "cinematic" camera, or when you're on a ride. -Entering any indoor building lowers the brightness to pitch black, it is truly impossible to see in the HEX queue line. even if that's accurate, make it a cutscene at least so it's obvious that it's no the players fault they're trapped. Often left with using a comically tiny little area of light from a dim torch. -Very little player agency, which will never not be frustrating in an open world game. -Invisible walls everywhere -Almost useless map -Terribly optimized -things immediately become blurry when more than 10m away -"Windowed" option just doesn't work. -Adjustment for video quality is very small. -Half the rides just aren't rideable (accurate) -Even just aesthetically, there's very little visual detail or atmospheric effects, leaving a game that looks like an early pixar short, which, for a simulator, looks are the only thing it has to have. I understand this is a labor of love but this is gonna need a WHOLE lot more love before it gets as good as even a sub-par nolimits 2 or planet coaster recreation.
