Virtual SlotCars

Was not sure what to expect when I bought this, but I have to say they got it right. Spent many days doing this IRL when I was growing up. Ahh the memories. Nice job guys!

Lots of fun but would like to see more development/stability in the multiplayer section.

I've been looking for a temporary slot car fix whilst racing is on hold. I've raced a lot of slot cars covering hard body, BSCRA, ISRA and vintage/classic BSCRA kit, and this is the closest video game I've found to actual slot racing. The developer knows slot racing, both the options to modify the cars, and also the tracks are realistic (a number of the tracks included are actual slot car tracks around Europe). For people who haven't got any experience with slot racing, it might not be the best for more than a quick look. However I would recommend it for anyone looking to do some racing whilst on lockdown. I've already recommended this to the guys I race with and am hoping to set up a weekly race on the multiplayer to temporarily replace club racing.

Toller Slotcars-Simulator. Fühlt sich mit Gamepad wie echt an. Die Regelung der Geschwindigkeit könnte für mich etwas weniger empfindlich sein. Aber vielleicht kann ich das noch besser einstellen.. Grafik und Auflösung sind ok. Meine 3840x1080 werden nicht unterstützt, und die FPS sindauf 60 limitiert, was aber beides hier kein Problem darstellt. Der Sound der Fahrzeuge ist sehr gut. Kaufempfehlung. :))

one of the few slot car games out there but done well, lots of potential so cater to all scales and backrounds of slot car racers. track editor is fun and pretty intuitive allowing for very mild to wild track creations. would love to see this game further developed with added features like leaderboards, campaign modes, VR SUPPORT, and car and track scale selections, but for the price and current state its still very entertaining especially if you can get a freind to race with. game progression is a bit grindy to unlock parts, but different track variations help.

Io non sono un esperto di slot cars, per questo motivo ho trovato questo simulatore abbastanza divertente. Io non trovo nessuno in multiplayer -forse è solo per giocare in casa e senza server?- Trovo però scorretto venderlo come un gioco in via di sviluppo se non ci sono aggiornamenti di rilievo dalla sua commercializzazione... I am not an expert on slot cars, for this reason I found this simulator quite funny. I can't find anyone in multiplayer -maybe it's just for playing at home and without a server? - However, I find it incorrect to sell it as a game in development if there are no major updates from its marketing.

This is a game which I think you have to play for yourself in order to fully understand and appreciate. I'm a MASSIVE 'Carrera Go' fan [a real slot car racing system - 1/43 Scale] in real life and I found this a little too 'Press the ALT key and DUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUH!!!' compared with the full and real versatility of slot car racing. Having said that though there is a degree of challenge with three throttle settings one of which tootles along / one of which boosts you along / one of which will bring you off the track for you to pick and exercise your judgement with depending on the course you are racing. Cars can and do leave the track but replace themselves automatically at the point of excursion after a few seconds. The only other thing I found a bit irritating was that the AI opponent seems to be mostly invincible at all levels and hardly ever comes off though it's possible. I think younger players would gain the real maximums out of this especially if they are on their way to becoming a real slot car enthusiast. I will say that I have maybe come into this the wrong way round with 'Carrera Go' being a tall order for a PC Simulated slot car set up to follow and so I exercise my judgement and sense of fairness carefully and bearing this in mind.

Surgically-honed physics, mesmerizing game-play, simple controls (just like the old hornby controllers). Neat rewards system and a fantastically easy track editor. Man I cant wait till the modding community gets behind this (assuming the devs are making that simple). Imagine racing the Scalextric mini coopers with the chequered tops, or the 911s with the lights, or the lotus climax... ahhhh..
