Eyes of the tiger??!!
This game is lots of fun and has a ton of potential. Already it is close to the level of TOTF in terms of boxing mechanics (and superior in certain respects), but it also includes several fun mini-games as a bonus. I can't wait for multiplayer boxing as that has been on my VR wish list for a while. Several things need improvement, including adjusting height (I'm 6'6" and the height adjustment only goes up to 6'2"), hit accuracy and AI response when boxing, the ping pong does not work for me. Overall though, I definitely recommend this game and I hope the devs continue to work on it because it has big-time potential to be great.
It does not work properly in WMR and Dev No response abt those male function of the game at all. I want my money back.
This is one of the few games for the VR that I LOVE only played about an hour so far but that was all in one go lol if you're looking for a fun game that has a great workout then you found it! I love boxing other AI but the mini games are great too! But be warned you will sweat in this one! lol Looking forward too multiplayer! You guys should try and get a celebrity to host it or fight against!
Still in development. It's a very ambitious game but the gloves are twitchy, the opponents are too easy and don't react to getting punched. It's an alpha release and I can't wait to see it when it's finished
Why they abandon good games? Sad times. Achievements don't work. I'll still thumbs up in hope the dev revives.
Oh boy, be careful here. I purchased this game today and I've been a VR boxing player in several other VR games. This is just simply the most buggy single VR game I've ever tried. Absolutely beyond belief. Most fights begin in a ring with the left hand glove sitting on the floor and unusable. After several retries, the glove may snap into the proper position. Then a fight can begin. There are also constant crash messages popping up when I exit the game. The boxing itself is the worst simulation of all boxing games I have ever used. It's nearly impossible to tell when your punch has actually landed. Switching difficulty levels in the gym is some incomprehensible procedure involving a peg board with gloves hanging there. No idea what one has to actually do to change levels. Nothing happens. This might be a developer's new idea of 'Mystery Interface.' Wow. Needless to say I have requested a refund. By the way, this is the first refund I have ever requested for any game whatsoever.
you wont just be fighting other boxers youll be fighting with the guilt of paying money for this
The Thrill of the Fight.
Management summary: If you want a MP VR boxing game there is no other option anyway. Disclaimer: MP is not implemented yet but core gameplay and already advanced in development. Imho there are only two good VR boxing games: Thrill of the fight and this. For additional workout I can recommend BoxVR. As both boxing games are really cheap I’d recommend buying both. Get some workout and fun for a price other games easily grab by selling DLC and/or ingame items. Totf lacks MP and it‘s not safe if or when it‘ll be added. So get VBL (too) if you want MP or MP too. In the long run VBL might even toss Totf from the SP throne because VBL was just released and the team is working hard to keep the patch flowing. They are also VERY present in the steam forums. Something you usually don’t see. Be it AAA studio or indie niche dev. They are fixing stuff pretty quick! For me, VBL is already reference for VR boxing because I ll see it ahead in the end. Especially because of MP. Can‘t wait to watch my matches and those of friends with our customized boxers utilizing a fully worked out boxing engine. Eye candy boost is also just around the corner ;) The game is worth the money in it‘s current, very early state and it will be even way better month after month. I’m very sure about that. Thanks spellbound for finally making a game which I dreamed off when I was preordering Vive in hour 1. Boxing was even part of the Vive trailer but I felt like it was never really delivered. But soon I can fight people from all around the world without the need for a nose surgery. (I have 15 years of experience boxing in a club)
