About

...Vincent: Mansion of The Dead is a Halloween flavored twin-stick arena shooter with survivors-like mechanics and low-poly pixel art graphics.
The ghost Winry who lives in her secluded mansion is the prime target of the Dark Lord Thanatos, who wishes to collect her soul. The Dark Lord has deemed that she has lived for too long and is sending his army to collect her debt. Team up with her vessel Vincent and fend off the evil spirits!

Hack, Slash, Dash, Gain EXP, Level Up!
The gameplay is fairly simplistic but you can control the direction your character can attack and also evade incoming attacks by dashing! several upgrades exist to buff your DPS and improve your move set! Each run you will earn skill points between runs which can be used to permanently buff your character.
Feel powerful enough for a challenge? Increase the difficulty threefold!
Alongside Vincent and Winry, Meet 7 comrades and unlikely allies along the way!
Each with their own move sets!
You can also create your own custom character to team up alongside using the .vrm file format!
Converse with your allies in the "Winry Mystery Mansion" hub world.

is a good game but sadly not for me (sorry for refunding) it has a very nice art style, characters and a good music & sound but the problem it's too easy for me (even on the hardest difficulty x3) also I didn't like most the skills and it doesn't have that much to pick (I only take what ever gives attack damage and speed) also the font type is very hard for me to read (as someone whose second language is English) however, I still recommend trying the game
Im in the house like ...vincent
Not played it for long but the game looks great with the old school aesthetic and the enemy and character design are charming as is the music, the inclusion of a story as well as the classic survivor style game is neat. If you've played any survivors games you'll know what to expect game play wise BUT one thing I will criticise, is that when your character attacks it feels like they stop moving, and while it's only briefly it's noticeable, especially when you bump up your attack speed, it ends up feeling very juddery and annoying, especially when enemies don't stop so you can be surrounded easy especially as a melee character. If the dev can get sort out the movement it'll play a lot smoother and be more fun. At the current price point I'd recommend it, though it'd be better if the movement was smoother, I'll definitely keep playing and try out the other characters but the juddery moving may eventually prove too much.
I saw this game on itch.io a while ago, It's great to see it here. The fun thing is that it has .vrm support (for some reason) so you can bring one of your own models into the game easily. I've got a lot of blender knowledge and vrm as well, so this is a pleasant surprise! Overall, fun for a while, I wouldn't say as crazy jam packed a other titles released recently like ball x pit, megabonk, or the OG vampire survivors, but for 3 bucks it's well worth. ( I got a miku vrm, so I play the game as miku so easy 10/10)
peak. actually genuinely peak. i love the story premise, as simple and sweet as it is, the characters are lovely, the game runs wonderfully, the design of everything is great. genuinely love this. absolutely going to become my second monitor game while i'm doing something
Even besides how I got the game, I'd still say it would be worth the $3. The amount of effort that's been put into this game to make it look and feel so good, it shows. The dash mechanic, the hitboxes, the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ MUSIC (thank you Dani). I love booting this up on a slow night and playing it for an hour or two, easy to pick up and do a run real quick. There's Skill Points too so it's like no run is a waste, you still get stuff out of it to make the next one better.
Sorted by release date and picked a small indie game, safe to say this was worth the money! I love the art style and the character/enemy models are amazing. I'm not the greatest at survivor style games but this one is really easy to pick up (it has adjustable difficulty so don't worry if you want more of a challenge than me) and each character's abilities (I have not unlocked all of them) feel unique enough without being overly complicated. Seems to have a pretty decent story line as well that I want to explore further. The dashing is the best part of the game hands down, I will spam dash till the day I die <3
It seems like I'm in some sort of... Mansion of the Dead...
...Vincent: Mansion of the Dead I got to see this game from a very early point in it's development when I was asked if I was down to make music for it and got to see it all the way to the end. A crud ton got changed since I got to see it for the first time and it's been really fun and nice seeing the this game unfold and even being there actively contributing for 2025 update of the game. I may be a little biased when it comes to my opinion of the game, since I was about half of the suggestions, but I really do like how this game has turned out in the end. I only have one regret when it comes to this game... ...And that's the fact I didn't make more music for it. Maybe I'll fix that one day... Just maybe. For the actual review part now. I like the more controllable gameplay compared to some of the other Survivors-Like games. Simply making the game a Twin Stick makes the game a little more engaging to me. The dash mechanic is really fun to play with especially in those tight spots or for grouping up a bunch of enemies. The upgrades are really greatly created and implemented. And one more thing I can say I really like is all the unique characters and their attacks. I ended up playing Trevor the most. (Also really the design for him too. Thank you, Crone!!!). Only real complaint I have it the purchasable upgrades. I like how they work in the end but I feel it's a little difficult getting the points in the end. That's my only real complaint. All and all, I recommend you give this game a try. It's really fun. And thank you Marino for this opportunity to make music for it!
