They developers had a clear vision and executed it flawlessly. You can go fast, or you can cruise. Exploring alone makes this game worth it. The encounters are fantastic. The brutalism is oppressive. The atmosphere is enthralling. 1000 Eyes and Konstantin Schimanowski made a masterpiece with the soundtrack. Absolute gas. 10/10. Praise Fobxx.
A fantastic game to kill time. The music, oh my god the music. 1000 eyes did an AMAZING job. Each level is so unique and atmospheric. I hope that the levels are more polished over time with more backgrounds or water features. Thats my only suggestion

I loved exploring the wonderful environments in this game (especially the few expansive ones that reached far beyond their linear paths). Secrets and hidden npcs are fun to find. Movement is simple but fun,
Liminal parkour ambience, a flow state of a game.
ну ваще норм прикольно
Great Smoovment. Great Vibes. Would recomend
amazing game i felt lie im in another world
VHOLUME is a fantastic vibe where 1000 Eyes' melancholic music, grand brutalist architecture and fluid parkour come together in a one-of-a-kind experience. With 31 main levels as well as B-side levels and secrets strewn about, VHOLUME feels as much an adventure as it is a competitive parkour game. I personally don't care too much about the leaderboard and optimizing run times, and I don't think you have to be able to appreciate how great the movement is. Seamlessly bhopping into consecutive wall runs, then sliding under an obstacle and strafing a long jump to a platform, barely making it, feels amazing. Part of this magic is also in VHOLUME's near-perfect level design. Even though the levels maintain the feeling of being big and intricate throughout, I never felt lost or confused. It has great signposting within its architecture as well as other cues that guide. And if you happen to strafe off the beaten path, it becomes a discovery of its own. An expertly crafted experience dripping in atmosphere that pays homage to a forgotten era of video games that feels nostalgic and strangely peaceful. Strongly recommended!
The movement in this game is incredible. To me it feels like someone was a big fan of the way movement felt in Mirror's Edge Catalyst, which was fast and smooth once you knew once you were doing, and was easily exploitable even by casuals for getting out of bounds. There's also a bit of the feeling of Mirror's Edge speedrunning glitches like wall boosting and kick glitching with the way you gain speed from wall jumps and can also do straight horizontal wall jumps by doing a slide jump off the wall. The parkour is tied together with a deceptively simple slide jumping/bunnyhopping system that lets you gain speed basically any time you're on flat ground, which is a ton of fun to get good with and try to squeeze into as many jumps as you can. The level design overall is fantastic and is entirely sight-readable even if you're trying to go fast. It's great with light cues and putting the way forward in interesting directions that manage to flow naturally. There are so many paths through the level and it's a lot of fun to run levels over and over finding the optimal route. The movement feels so free and expressive. There's lots to explore as well, with B-side levels unlocked by finding a well-hidden collectible in each level of the normal campaign, and lots of NPCs hidden away that just say some nonsense and have an achievement tied to finding them all. One of my favorite things in the game is the character's breathing. If you stand still, they start breathing in a consistent sort of way. Maybe 2 seconds in, 1 second hold, 2 seconds out, 3 seconds hold, and repeat. While the game's overall focus is on going fast, some of my favorite moments in the game have been when I stopped, took in the architecture of some weird building or hallway, and followed my character's breathing. Overall highly recommend especially at the price. Even if you just ran through the levels and didn't try to improve your times or explore at all, the movement systems and level design are exceptional and worth experiencing if you like parkour games at all.
