Mildly recommended if you love wave based top down shooters. We had some fun with this one, but it gets old pretty quick. The graphics are decent and the combat is fun. The defense building is good and the variety of zombies keeps things fresh for a bit. It doesn't go much beyond the basic formula of build, fight, collect and repeat. If that's your thing, then this is worth a try.
非常不好玩,后悔买了
VERSUS SQUAD is a top-down action shooter that combines frantic zombie survival with defensive planning and cooperative gameplay. Developed and published by DiezelPower, the game builds upon classic twin-stick shooting mechanics while introducing a surprisingly deep layer of battlefield preparation. Rather than focusing solely on running and gunning, it challenges players to think strategically before the fighting begins, creating an experience that feels like a hybrid of arcade action, tower defense, and survival management. The central concept revolves around surviving relentless waves of mutant enemies across a variety of maps. Before each battle, players are given the opportunity to customize their character and prepare the battlefield with defensive structures. Barricades, automated turrets, medical stations, ammunition supplies, and explosive traps can all be placed to create a personalized defense network. This preparation phase adds meaningful depth to the gameplay and makes every match feel different depending on the chosen layout and strategy. Once combat begins, the game transforms into a chaotic and energetic struggle for survival. Enemies attack in enormous numbers, filling the screen with swarms of infected creatures that constantly pressure players from multiple directions. The twin-stick controls work well with the fast-paced action, allowing for responsive movement and precise shooting. Large-scale enemy assaults create a sense of urgency throughout each match, and the sheer volume of opponents ensures that players are rarely given a moment to relax. One of the game's strongest qualities is the progression system. Characters can unlock numerous perks and upgrades that significantly alter combat effectiveness. Improvements to weapon performance, survivability, and special abilities provide a satisfying sense of advancement. Players are rewarded for successful runs with resources that can be used to strengthen their defenses and experiment with new strategies. This steady progression helps maintain long-term engagement and encourages repeated play sessions. The variety of available equipment also contributes to the game's replayability. Different weapons and defensive tools support multiple playstyles, whether players prefer aggressive frontline combat or a more tactical approach focused on maintaining defensive positions. Because enemy waves and battlefield conditions can vary, adapting loadouts and defensive setups becomes an important part of mastering the game. Cooperative multiplayer is where VERSUS SQUAD truly shines. The game supports both online and local cooperative play, allowing groups of players to work together against overwhelming odds. Team coordination becomes a major factor in survival, as players can divide responsibilities between defending key areas, repairing structures, collecting resources, and eliminating high-priority threats. The cooperative experience adds an extra layer of excitement and often produces the game's most memorable moments. Visually, the game favors functionality over spectacle. The graphics are straightforward and designed to keep the action readable even when hundreds of enemies occupy the screen. While the presentation may not compete with larger-budget productions, it serves the gameplay effectively. Explosions, weapon effects, and environmental defenses create enough visual feedback to keep battles engaging, while the dark atmosphere reinforces the game's post-apocalyptic theme. There are some limitations that prevent the game from reaching a higher level of excellence. The core gameplay loop remains focused on surviving enemy waves, which can become repetitive during extended sessions. Players looking for a strong narrative or significant mission variety may find the experience somewhat limited. The visuals, while practical, also lack the polish and detail seen in more modern action titles. Nevertheless, these drawbacks are partially offset by the game's extensive customization systems and cooperative appeal. What ultimately makes VERSUS SQUAD stand out is its successful blend of genres. It captures the immediate excitement of a twin-stick shooter while incorporating strategic planning elements that reward creativity and preparation. The ability to build defenses, customize characters, and tackle enormous enemy hordes gives the game a unique identity within the crowded zombie survival genre. For players who enjoy action-heavy cooperative experiences with a strategic twist, it offers a substantial amount of entertainment and replay value. Rating: 8/10

整體算還行,一款防守類型的射殭屍遊戲,射擊感普普通通,可以支援多人遊玩, 玩法雖單純但拿來打發時間算還行,特價時入手較合適。
挺好玩的,虽然简陋,但是好玩的点都有
