Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Sep 3 → 0.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 25 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 10 places towards #1, and the 2,413 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

This is a "recommend" because I can't bear myself to give an actually negative review to this developer. But I just couldn't vibe with this one. The gameplay and story both start very slowly and confusingly - it feels like Prodigal (which I liked enough), but with less tight design, gamefeel, direction, and story. Mostly, I miss Curse Crackers! Guys, that was an all-timer.
REALLY good game. Banger soundtrack, good puzzles, and nice 2D zelda like combat! Feels like a hidden gem to be cliche.
I was brought here from youtube, from a video about under recognised steam games. Very glad I was. This game is a gameboy game that never was. I captures a wild sense of adventure I haven't felt from a game in a while. Everything has a wonderful sense of magic and mystery. 10/10, I'm in the middle of playing and will continue. Updated: after completing the game and getting the bad ending I went to investigate if there was a way to fix it. Only to be told to replay the game again. Piss poor game design. If you're going to put a bad ending in create a return point BEFORE the point of no return. Don't slap us in face and say, "You failed, play the whole game again."

I like the first one (Prodigal) alot more. felt more cozy like your choices mattered more like in a life sim, this one? its still good just the puzzles in this one a bit harder than the first game. and it feels more linear and minus the life sim parts that was in the first one since the main character is more grown up now to continue the story. idk if ima finish this i may come back later.
To the Devs, I discovered your IP through this game, which prompted me to play Prodigal, and I don't regret any minute I spent on both, the passion you put into the game can really be felt, and I'm excited to get to play and discover more in the future, good luck !
Very good sequel to the devs previous game Prodigal. Continues the story and world building of their other games and does a very good job. Interesting story, characters, and world. Music is fantastic and composer deserves a raise. Gameplay is also great. It plays like top down Zelda games like Prodigal, but faster and more actiony. Veritus is smaller, shorter and more focused than Prodigal, but still well worth it. I loved all their games so far and will be immediately buying the next one.
Tu as finit le donjon ?
Veritus is a 6-8 hour Zelda-like that is technically a direct sequel to Prodigal. But, the list price is only $7 and that is because, as recently as the 2010s, it would have been sold as standalone post-game DLC (think: Prey: Mooncrash, Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, etc). Context: Prodigal is one of the best Zelda-likes on Steam, alongside Pipistrello (2025) and Master Key (2024). You should only play Veritus if you have completed Prodigal. Veritus is... very weird, though I still had a good time with it. In Prodigal, the game begins with a very 'ordinary people in a small town' vibe, and only deep into the endgame do you get glimpses of demigods & immortals and this whole bizarre array of 'powers that be.' In Veritus, from the jump you are part of a crew of... beings... ('mortal' status unclear) who are invading a magical castle in another plane of existence maybe to try to slay an imprisoned god. The whole game has a very 'hallucination' quality to it, where everybody assumes you're totally in on the plan, and it's as if you, the player, are the only one in the dark, trying to put pieces together. As a sequel it's nowhere near the game Prodigal is. As an endgame DLC for Prodigal, it's... an enjoyable experiment.
Colorgrave made yet another fantastic game with a great mixture of combat and puzzles. Characterization, art, music, and atmosphere are all on point. You can tell that the team were really inspired to make something special here. While less open-ended than its predecessor Prodigal, it leans much more heavily into story and lore, much of which is quite compelling. While playing the previous game is not required to enjoy this game on its own merits, I strongly recommend playing Prodigal before this one. Not only does it provide more context and familiarity with the world and characters, it shows the the reason the main character goes on this expedition in the first place.
