Overall a fun and enjoyable game. the story is also pretty interesting.
Enjoyed the game. cool story, amazing one man project. a nice quick horror game.
Enjoyed the premise, fun little story, could be a setup for much more. Could use some more video options, like V-sync, windowed mode and more than 1080p resolution, but all that can be figure out in the .ini at least (AppData\Local\Veranoia\Saved\Config\Windows)
Nice Game and Story
A fine little horror game. The story was a bit confusing to be honest and not very well written. Contains a few little scares and stressful moments. Considering it's a game created by a single developer, it's a fine game and deserves a playthrough.
It ran just fine on my PC and my GPU is quite outdated, I'd say the game is fairly optimised, I've seen worst games made by an entire team, so the fact that only one person did it is very impressive. The only thing I missed was an option to lower the sensitivity. The end felt a bit rushed, but I mean, still an impressive game made by only one person. I think it is worth it support the dev to see what they'll come up with in the future.
I have very atmospheric story driven horror game. For people that are interested in the genre it is well worth checking out and giving it a go.
A nicely put together little indie horror game. The atmosphere is really good and there's a nice variety of mechanics. The story is decent and the scares are generally set up well. While some of the assets were familiar, it felt like most of the game had a distinctive visual flair. There was a bug I ran into in Chapter 4, but there was an autosave at the start of that section so it wasn't a massive pain in the arse. It also took me an embarrassingly long time to work out how to get to the end of Chapter 6. A note or protagonist comment giving a hint might be a good idea, dev? It was actually the achievement name and icon that clued me in eventually. A solid, spooky little game.
Picked up a copy from the Dev on Reddit, appreciated the key! This game is an impressive feat, especially considering it's a one-man project. One area I feel could use some improvement is the character's movement speed. While I understand it's probably designed to enhance the tension and dramatic effect, it sometimes feels a bit too slow, particularly when trying to outrun or evade enemies. A bit of a speed boost would be great for that. Additionally, adding the ability to open and close doors to block or hinder enemies (like Morg’ythia) could make the gameplay even more dynamic. The environment is great but could be used more effectively to avoid or escape danger. Overall, it's a great game!
Let me start saying that I'm... a easy-to-scare dude. Not the usual public to horror games but this one... Made me try. Awesome premisse, nice job for a TRUE indie work, now this is my cup of tea. Abiut the game itself it's... truly immersive. At the point I had to stop playing. Yup, I'm a chicken when horror games are the subject. I just want to say that, even tho, I'll keep playing. If this doesn't advocate about the game quality, nothing will.
