Played for a bit, it has potential but really needs some polish. The amount of times I tried to throw a knife just to limp wrist it was outrageous also the amount of cussing on trying to grab a gun while the one in my hand didn't disappear yet was salior-esque. There were definitely some fun levels but then there were ones that were practically impossible. I think I would only recommend it on sale
Fantastic game!! Truly great, like a more refined colourful version of super hot I personally prefer to play this natively on q3 its even better there Very active and hard-working Dev who does their best to ensure good end user experience. Looking forward to possibility of OpenXR on Steam one day! Thank you
This is a review that has several facets mixed together, and unfortunately, although I give the game a thumbs-up because it really looks good, runs, sounds, and the interactions are well done, I can't play it because of Microsoft's (we're going to remove WMR from the market) and everything else. Recently, games no longer include WMR support, nor the controls (you have to do tricks in SteamVR) to be able to configure and bind each action. And what do you think? Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Also, add that the games aren't displayed on the HMD but on your monitor screen. Solutions have been circulating all over the internet and Steam trying to resolve these issues, without much success. We (the users) shouldn't be the ones to fix these issues, but it's logical that the developers shouldn't be to blame for this, since most don't have WMR headsets, and it's almost unlikely they could develop games based on them. So the game looks great, and I recommend it. But be careful if you have WMR, don't buy it, because it won't work 100%. And you'll need to spend a lot of time configuring, not playing, which is what we really want to do!
Vendetta Forever is a fast-paced virtual reality action shooter developed by Meatspace Interactive and published by nDreams. Designed as a stylized tribute to high-octane action cinema, the game embraces exaggerated gunplay, kinetic movement, and tightly constructed combat arenas. Rather than aiming for grounded realism, it delivers an arcade-like power fantasy where players step into a whirlwind of bullets, improvised weapons, and explosive set pieces, all enhanced by the immersive physicality of VR. At the center of Vendetta Forever’s design is a distinctive mechanic that directly ties movement to combat. Progression through levels depends on eliminating enemies and using their dropped weapons to propel forward. Each successful takedown becomes a stepping stone, encouraging players to chain kills fluidly while maintaining constant forward momentum. This system transforms firefights into rhythmic sequences of action, where positioning, timing, and target prioritization determine survival. Unlike traditional shooters that rely on stick-based locomotion, movement here feels physical and intentional, reinforcing the sensation of being inside a stylized action film. The level design is curated rather than procedural, featuring a broad array of cinematic scenarios. From close-quarters bar shootouts to daring hijackings and chaotic urban confrontations, each stage feels handcrafted to emphasize dramatic pacing and tactical variety. Environments are compact but layered, filled with cover points, vertical elements, and strategic enemy placement. The pacing is relentless; moments of quiet are rare, and the game thrives on maintaining tension. This design philosophy rewards quick reflexes and spatial awareness, as players must constantly assess threats while preparing their next leap forward. Visually, Vendetta Forever adopts a bold, stylized aesthetic that prioritizes clarity and impact. Environments are designed with strong contrasts and distinct silhouettes to ensure enemies and objects remain readable during frenetic action. Weapon models are detailed enough to feel tangible without overwhelming performance requirements. The sound design plays a crucial role in immersion, with punchy gunfire, environmental effects, and an energetic soundtrack that reinforces the high-adrenaline atmosphere. The audio-visual synergy contributes significantly to the cinematic feel, making encounters feel like orchestrated action sequences rather than isolated skirmishes. Replayability is another pillar of the experience. Leaderboards and performance scoring encourage players to refine their runs, experimenting with efficiency and creative kill chains. Additional modes, modifiers, and downloadable content expand the roster of scenarios, introducing new settings and challenges that sustain engagement beyond the initial playthrough. The focus on skill mastery ensures that the game appeals not only to casual players seeking spectacle but also to competitive VR enthusiasts aiming to perfect their performance. However, the intensity that defines Vendetta Forever can also be polarizing. Rapid movement transitions and high-speed combat sequences demand strong VR comfort tolerance and adequate physical play space. Players unfamiliar with fast-paced VR locomotion may initially find the experience overwhelming. Precision interactions occasionally require adaptation, especially during hectic moments when quick weapon grabs and rapid orientation shifts occur. While these elements contribute to the challenge and thrill, they can create a steep learning curve. Reception has generally been positive, particularly among players who appreciate arcade-style VR shooters and cinematic flair. Many praise its originality in integrating locomotion directly into combat flow, describing it as one of the more creative approaches to VR action design. Criticism tends to focus on its intensity and occasional control sensitivity, rather than on fundamental design flaws. This balance of innovation and accessibility positions it as a standout title within the VR action genre. Ultimately, Vendetta Forever succeeds by fully committing to its action-film fantasy. It merges stylized gunplay with physical VR interaction to create an experience that feels kinetic and immersive. While its demanding pace may not suit every player, those who enjoy dynamic, score-driven shooters with cinematic presentation will find it a compelling and memorable addition to the VR landscape. Rating: 7/10
to sum up, it's a "think fast chuckelnut" game, it's fast action, but it's more testing your brain reflect while act as target practice for enemy
Very Good Game with nice Sound. Ein sehr schönes Spiel mit toller Musik.
Works on Reverb G2. Vendetta Forever is an underrated fast paced VR shooter with tons of levels and replayability. It plays like SUPERHOT on crack mixed with Pistol Whip - without rhythm and also on crack. Combat is frantic and fun: both killing and dying takes very little time, depending on difficulty level and mutators. Levels are short, highly replayable (thanks to online leaderboards) and surprisingly diverse: from straight forward shooting galleries to stealth ops and hommages to famous movie scenes. There are 60 levels in the game, most of which are great, except for a few exceptions like those annoying darkness levels and the one that is just bugged and refuses to launch. On the minus side: teleporting to weapons that are laying on the ground can be a bit awkward, when there are a lot of them. Dropped weapons without ammo do not despawn and just clutter the floor. Hitboxes of objects are imprecise, spoiling shooting from cover, which is fine since there is barely any need for it.
