fun aracde game but crashing a lot

I had been meaning to buy this for years, ever since Vector Thrust Infinite was announced by InfinityUSEA, but I haven't gotten around to the mod, so all I can talk about is Vector Thrust as it is. I ignored the warnings for years: was sure I'd find something of value here... nope. Even the first mission is broken and incompletable; the game has a high chance of freezing when pausing, sometimes crashes when using the menu or firing missiles, etc. What a sad story for a game that clearly once held so much potential, that (according to Reddit) both FAN and Jose Pavli were involved in, and that was the victim of (also according to Reddit) its publisher.

Los controles son una mierda, Tiene falta de traduccion al español y encima no se puede ajustar los controles mientras juegas solo en el menu sin poder ver que hace cada uno.

Stay away. Bought this awhile ago to try out... There's a reason it's cheap... UI is awful, voice acting is pretty bad. It's close to Ace Combat, but it doesn't do what people like about that. Plane is slow and you always seem to be too fast for the enemies. So you chase and then stall. (I played only the first mission and kept failing somehow...) I do like the art direction of the planes, but that's the only thing that has cell shading. The contrast makes it seem kinda stick out in a bad way...

no joystick controller support whatsoever. Shame, because i want to play it. Until that is resolved, this game is hot garbage.

Buggy mission objectives, routine crash to desktop, unfinished feel - pity because this game has great potential.
