Vector Prospector

Up front, this type of game doesn't typically appeal to me. I played it because I used to do variety streams as part of my streaming schedule where I would play 5 randomly selected games, and Vector Prospector was selected for one of those streams. Despite my lack of interest in the genre, I was genuinely surprised by the amount of fun I had with the game. The game has a sneaky fluidity to it's controls, it's goes from relaxing and contemplative to incredibly hectic at the drop of a hat (in a good way). I only spent 45 minutes with it or so, but I surprisingly felt a pull to return to it post stream that I was 100% not expecting given my indifference to it before launching it for the first time.

A fun little physics-y game. Reminded me of those old lunar lander style games, but with a dash of rogue-lite and a really cool end sequence. Definitely recommend!

Quite enjoyable little action game.

In my first two hours of the game my ship was blown up, crushed, shot, lasered, and eaten. Got slightly better once I hit level 5 and thought I was golden only to get eaten again. 10/10 can and will keep dying to the only organic on the planet.
