Honestly I did not expect much going into this game. I was interested in another game by these developers (All You Can Eat) but I was skeptical of the quality so I delved into other games in their catalog to see how their other titles held up and I decided to try this one because of it had the same art style and gameplay and it was also free. My initial impressions before I played the game was that this was going to be an edgy, over the top, interactive story with not much substance other than "haha funny monkey smokes in space lolol" and I was very wrong. It is a short story, lasting about 20-30 minutes but I had a blast playing it. The puzzles, though minimal, were quite engaging and I had a lot of fun trying to help this ape escape his destiny of being a drug on the intergalactic black market and setting him and his pals free with new-found sentience. I highly recommend this title and anything else by Gamechuck. All their games that I have tried out after discovering this one has been really fun! 10/10 experience!

"vApe Escape" is a point-and-click adventure in a science fiction comedy setting. You will take control of an innocent ape who must escape the sad destiny of becoming a vape dispenser machine for the wealthy hipsters of the universe. This game has 5 achievements, multiple endings, a funny story, a soundtrack that will haunt you in your most intimate vaping moments and it offers you the possibility to print out your gameplay as a comic-book when you're done playing. It took me around 30 minutes to finish the game (both endings) and get all the achievements. I would give it a 2/10 difficulty rating as you still need to complete some puzzles to be able to progress further into the game (3/10 - if you want to get all the achievements). It's a well written game that has an absurd premise and is atypical for a point-and-click adventure due to its comic book-style approach. The artwork really gives you that comic book feel, it fits perfectly with the game's panel format and the atmospheric soundtrack blends perfectly with the overall style of the game. All things considered, I would recommend this free game to the players of all ages that like point-and-click adventure games (comic book style) or to the casual players that are trying new games/doing playthroughs.
