Van Wheel Gone has simple yet striking imagery and a message of never giving up despite the struggles one faces; All of which conveyed through the absurdity of a Van that lost it's Wheels. The message probably can't apply to more complex situations but for grief, it works well and the developer's intentions were clear & had a bittersweet payoff at the game's conclusion. There are 7 levels that reflect the levels of hell & the cardinal sins. They each employ a unique power up adding to improved yet somewhat clunky gameplay over the games short 30 minute runtime whilst also employing janky combat through melee strikes & parries. The most striking level for me personally was Heresy followed by the game's conclusion in Treachery. There is replay value if one enjoys the controls through a dedicated speedrun mode and mini-games that are available after completion of the game. They aren't anything to write home about but they are fun for 20 minutes of added playtime and you can even challenge the world record scores & times or friends through a post game leaderboard. [h3]Conclusion[/h3] All in all Van Wheel Gone is a simple. The platforming is not complex, the story & message is clear and the visuals reflect the struggle, some better than others. It is Simple yet effective at what it's trying to display. For $1.50 (price reduced from $7 after player feedback which is great to see) Van Wheel Gone is worth a playthrough especially for those recently griefing and want a simple game to possibly help them transition between stages with a message that isn't profound.

short, interesting, and cute game. makes sense but also impressive that it was made in less than a month. the platforming is more engaging than it seem and level design makes u wish it was a longer and more complete game!

This was great. It's a half hour to an hour experience. Just difficult enough to keep you engaged but not too difficult to become frustrating. Graphics are beautiful and the music slaps. A great message as well. Worth the money. p.s ... GO Weegee GO!

I did the game for a challenge on SRC but the dev was not nice, funny and kind that I've 100% it. Pretty short but sweet !
