About
Dominate undead politics through cunning and violence! Will a missing Prince give you the opening to betray your sire and seize power?
Vampire: The Masquerade — Parliament of Knives is a 600,000 word interactive horror novel by Jeffrey Dean, based on Vampire: The Masquerade and set in the World of Darkness shared story universe. Your choices control the story. It's entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination.
The undead Prince of Canada's capital city has disappeared, and his second-in-command, Eden Corliss, wants you to find out why. You’ve been loyal to Corliss since she Embraced you and made you a vampire, but this could be your chance to take her place. Will you defend your sire from the accusations flying, or join forces with her rivals to bring her down?
Ottawa’s court of immortals is tight-knit and merciless, with tensions between clans that go back centuries. The Prince has been missing for four days, and old alliances are starting to crumble. How will you leverage the political chaos to your advantage? The authorities are already on high alert against a new group of Anarchs in the city, who have been breaching the Masquerade by revealing their true nature. You’ll have to gather evidence to demonstrate which suspects deserve punishment, and you can’t afford to guess wrong. One careless word could get you stabbed in the back—staked through the heart, and left to burn in the sun.
Who will you save when the knives are out?

great
amazing, i couldn't stop replaying it. its incredible how many branches this has like night road, this should definitely have a save system
Fun story, replayable for lots of different endings, could have done with music or more art to pad the endless blocks of text though. On my second playthrough now after 3 hours

I was impressed by the adventure. It goes places and does more than I imagined. I am eager to play other games of the same genre. Not as good as paper RPG but gives good feeling.
Jo demo piti otteessa, ja sai ostamaan pelin. Kokemus oli mainio 9/10 . Vain pari kohtaa tuntui siltä etten voinut valita mielestäni fiksuinta vaihtoehtoa. Mutta janoan lisää.
This game reads like a college girls fanfiction
Where VTM Night Road is packed with density and possibilities within its scenes, Parliament of Knives is more zoomed-out but no less gripping, allowing you to weave your own path through loads of possible scenes and events to follow what feels like your own story through a much more politicking kind of VTM story. This is denser than it appears, and though it's slow at the beginning the intrigue really got me. One of the best VTM games out there for sure.
A fine Vampire game. It has a few inconsistencies but overall it hangs together and can twist and turn in surprising ways. Enjoyable!
I wish this one functioned a bit more like Night Road, but I still really loved it. The story was fun and engaging, and I think the character interactions and relationships you could build with them is a lot deeper than what you can do in the other game. It feels a lot less high stakes, but I don't necessarily think that's a bad thing. It's a good political drama with a lot of replay value.
Preamble I only played with the DLC installed that adds extra story content. Pros Compelling Characters: All the characters are interesting, which genuinely incentivizes replaying the game multiple times to deepen your understanding of each individual storyline. Rich Language: The vocabulary used can sometimes be difficult for a non-native English speaker to grasp, but it is very manageable with a translator on hand. Meaningful Choices & Variety: There are distinct ways to reach the various endings. Even though the story is forced to pass through certain key moments, every choice feels like it truly weighs in the balance. C-o-n-s Length: It felt a touch too short for my taste, though the playtime is roughly equivalent to Night Road. Repetitive Replays: Having to restart from the beginning and go through the exact same key plot points every time can be frustrating and makes subsequent runs less exciting. However, the "bookmark" mode (which I haven't used yet) might make uncovering hidden story fragments easier. Overall, Parliament of Knives is a compelling narrative experience that shines through its complex characters and meaningful political maneuvering. While the replay loop can feel repetitive due to the unskippable scenes, the depth of the DLC and the sheer variety of endings make it a worthwhile journey. If you enjoyed Night Road and have the patience to explore different narrative branches, this is a solid addition to the Vampire: The Masquerade collection.
