[h1]OH SHIP! IT'S TIME TO SEAS THE DAY... VACATION ADVENTURE STYLE[/h1] It's no secret that I'm a huge fan of the Vacation Adventures series; in fact, I love all the games by Casual Arts! If you are looking for a Hidden Object Game that focuses on quality and relaxation, look no further.  You can play in a Casual Mode (untimed-faster hint recharge), a Challenge Mode (timed-normal hint recharge), or Extreme Mode, which is only available in the CE version with extra hidden Object items (timed-no available hints-all Lost & Found and Golden Anchors must be found). There are 19 Achievements to earn for completing various tasks, such as buying Souvenirs, earning an Eagle Eye award, or completing the game. Unfortunately, the achievements are all "in-game" and not Steam-related. You can purchase 16 Cruise Souvenirs, which are stored in your cabin. Each scene has three Lost & Found Items, shown as silhouetted shapes in a Portal to the left of the listed items bar. When all Lost & Found items have been spotted, the portal will close. Each HO scene has several Golden Anchors to find (some are located in the zoom zones as well), and the Anchor icon will get a green checkmark when they have all been found. There are 16 Photo-op scenes throughout the game. Look for the Camera Icon to take a photo for the photo album. The Camera Icon will show a green checkmark once you take the photo (by clicking the icon) OR if there are no photo ops available. Words listed in Blue require an interaction of some type, and words in Red are hidden inside or behind things. Most scenes feature at least two Zoom Zones (indicated by sparkling stars) that have hidden items and sometimes include Anchors or Lost & Found items. The Magnifying Glass will show you a hint of one item, and the Mega hint will show you the location of every item left to find. However, you will earn an Eagle Eye achievement if you don't use either the Hint or Mega Hint feature. You'll earn a Bronze Star for completing the Search, a Silver Star if you find all Lost & Found items OR Anchors, and a Gold Star if you find all Lost & Found items AND Gold Anchors. After each Hidden Object Scene, you'll play a variety of Mini Games, such as Word Search, Jigsaws, Label Placement, and Square Rotation Puzzles.
