Game is quite fun to explore and discover all the environmental storytelling while trying not to die from constant gunfights. The gameplay loop is very unique and enjoyable as you have around 12 minutes before the game crashes from startup, letting you do runs before being reset. I have found one problem with the door to the starting house being slightly misaligned but other than that everything works to a high enough standard that it's mainly unnoticeable. 10/10 would highly recommend

V.L.A.D.i.K is an ambitious open-world action game developed and published by Narko Games that aims to deliver a sandbox experience centered on exploration, combat, and personal progression. Rather than guiding players through a rigid sequence of missions, the game encourages them to carve out their own journey in a sprawling environment inspired by modern Russia. You begin as an ordinary individual with limited resources, but through completing objectives, earning money, recruiting companions, and expanding your influence, you gradually evolve into a powerful figure capable of controlling your own criminal organization. The game's premise emphasizes freedom, allowing players to tackle challenges in a variety of ways while exploring a world filled with opportunities and dangers. The game's strongest feature is its commitment to player choice. Missions can be accepted and completed at your own pace, making exploration feel rewarding instead of forced. Driving across towns, rural roads, and industrial districts gives the world a believable sense of scale, while optional activities encourage players to stray from the main storyline. Building and managing a gang introduces a welcome layer of progression that goes beyond simple firefights, creating the feeling that every completed mission contributes to Vlad's growing reputation. Although these systems are relatively straightforward, they provide enough depth to make long-term progression satisfying. Combat forms the foundation of the gameplay, with players facing armed enemies in a variety of situations throughout the campaign. Gunplay is simple and accessible, focusing on steady action rather than highly technical mechanics. Success comes from making smart use of available weapons, maintaining good positioning, and managing encounters carefully. The inclusion of vehicles adds another layer of variety, allowing players to travel efficiently, escape dangerous situations, or simply enjoy exploring the map. While the action may not reach the level of refinement seen in major AAA shooters, it remains enjoyable and complements the game's open-ended design. Exploration is one of the most enjoyable aspects of V.L.A.D.i.K because the world encourages curiosity. Hidden locations, side missions, and interactions with various characters help create a sense of discovery as players move across the landscape. Instead of feeling like a collection of disconnected levels, the map functions as a continuous playground where combat, driving, and progression naturally blend together. Recruiting new members into your gang further reinforces the feeling of building influence, giving players a tangible reward for investing time beyond the main objectives. Visually, the game reflects its independent development. The environments successfully capture a gritty atmosphere with urban neighborhoods, industrial zones, countryside roads, and abandoned locations that contribute to the game's grounded setting. Although character models, facial animations, and environmental details occasionally reveal budget limitations, the overall world possesses enough personality to remain engaging. The developers clearly prioritized creating a large and immersive environment over graphical realism, and that decision helps establish a unique identity despite the modest production values. The audio presentation supports the atmosphere with functional weapon effects, ambient environmental sounds, and music that suits the game's rugged tone. While voice acting and sound quality vary throughout the experience, they help reinforce the setting without becoming distracting. The soundtrack remains appropriately restrained during exploration before becoming more energetic during combat, helping maintain immersion throughout the adventure. Like many ambitious indie projects, V.L.A.D.i.K is not without flaws. Players may encounter technical issues, occasional bugs, stiff animations, and enemy AI that behaves inconsistently. Certain mission structures become repetitive over time, and some mechanics lack the polish expected from larger-budget open-world titles. Those expecting cinematic storytelling or cutting-edge visuals may find the experience rough around the edges. However, many of these shortcomings are balanced by the sheer scope of the project and the amount of freedom it provides. What ultimately makes V.L.A.D.i.K stand out is its determination to offer an expansive sandbox experience despite its limited resources. It successfully combines exploration, driving, shooting, progression, and gang management into a cohesive package that reflects the developer's passion and ambition. While it cannot compete directly with blockbuster open-world games in terms of presentation or technical refinement, it offers enough originality and freedom to appeal to players who enjoy discovering hidden gems within the indie scene.
