Can't get it to run. But I'll recommend it anyway because those were some of the most bizarre crash messages I've ever gotten and they're worth experiencing.
Somewhat difficult boss rush/platforming game, has a wonderful audio and visual experience to it, so it makes the challenging parts much more palatable despite the awkward feedback when it comes to aiming the weapon to hit the bosses.
Very good game, I wish it had more content and I wish the aiming mechanic worked via the arrowpads or mouse but otherwise incredibly good.

Сделано на совесть, не хуже платных, но специфичная. Думалось, что закончится на 1 боссе, но нет... Также неплохой издатель который может порадовать даром еще некоторыми играми от студентов и возможно еще кого нибудь.
One of the best student games I've ever got my hands on. Gameplay mechanics are super polished and somewhat unique. Art style is interesting, music and sound design is kinda rushed. Truth be told I'm impressed that they were able to stuff three boss fights in there. Excellent team work and kudos to the technical artist.
Pretty good game, with nice mechaincs. Some gliches here and there, but nothing too bad
a short fun platformer. not much to say about this one. but i'd say you should give it a try.
Before I played Utomah, I had a small pp, no friends, no gf, depression, and no life. These things havent changed, but the game is pretty good
Made for people who cut their teeth on unforgiving NES platformers. Hard boss fights are the focus
"Utomah" is a student project from DigiPen. One of the first things students should be taught in game development is that 3D graphics became mainstream in the mid 1990's with dedicated 3D cards like the Voodoo3 and the ATI Rage. But the students were deliberately mistaught that's it's okay to release obsolete 2D games in the 3D era of gaming... certainly any professional developer seeing a prospective new hire who doesn't even know about 3D gaming probably isn't going to give them a job. Needless to say if an educational institution taught me incorrectly on purpose, I'd ask for my money back. is a very mediocre, short and unengaging 2D retro platformer with "Baby's First Wacom Tablet" hand drawn art, grappling mechanisms, and not much else of interest for serious PC gamers. We also have to question what value there is for gamers on Steam when institutions flood the store with low quality 2D video game homework assignments... sure, it might make the students feel good about themselves, but this has no benefit for gamers who have to wade through this stuff to find professionally made 3D games. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. It would be unethical for students to try charge money for their homework assignments, so you don't have to pay any money for this. But you'd still have to spend your time downloading this, and "time is money", as they say. So much for the matter of pricing. In terms of public reception, this failed. There's over 130 million unique gamers visiting Steam every month. SteamDB showed the game peaked at only 5 concurrent players... this is a dismal public reception. This was so bad they couldn't even give it away. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. There's no financial cost up-front, but you'd still be spending your time and a little hard drive space on a product that's far from the best. There's thousands of better alternatives on Steam.
