Upaon: A Snake's Journey

$3 just for some good fun. Cool graphics, no bugs or glitches, I enjoyed it. Not really re-playable but for $3 I can't ask for much. Nice to see something simple like this when some indie games have feature creep and are too ambitious. Fun game in a small file size with a cheap price that still delivers exactly what it promises. 7/10.

Upaon: A Snake's Journey é um excelente exemplo de um jogo elegante... sendo simples em conceito mas que brilha na hora de criar desafios para o jogador... com visuais de pixel art charmosos e com várias pequenas animações que demonstram o carinho dos devs. Cada conjunto de fases apresenta uma mecânica específica que é bem explorada gerando quebra cabeças que são desafiadores e ao mesmo tempo convidativos pra todos os tipos de jogadores. Eu tive o prazer de compartilhar essa experiência com a minha parceira e foi muito massa, pois fomos nos ajudando, tentando diversas abordagens pra resolver os puzzles. Recomendação fácil pra todo mundo que busca um jogo de quebra cabeças gostoso, fácil de entender e desafiador para completar. Verdade a trilha apesar de simples é relaxante e encaixa super bem com a experiência. Nota: 10/10.

Quick Description: -Upaon a Snake's Journey is a well designed puzzle game that mixes Snake and Sokoban. I own all of this dev's games and have enjoyed every one. He makes smaller indie games but all of them are fun and well made. Having said that, I wasn't expecting too much going in, but left pleasantly surprised. I didn't think I was big fan of Snake games, but I really enjoyed my 2+ hrs w/ this one. The puzzles look great visually and pack a fairly hefty challenge. Most players will complete all of the content in 2-4 hrs, but the later levels can be pretty tricky in a good way. Consensus: -Middle of the Road Game (Tier 4 and makes up 25% of my reviews). There is no undo button but it doesn't feel as necessary as it would in most sokoban games b/c the levels are pretty quick and tend to rely on trial or error w/ a good sprinkle of thoughtful strategy. Outside of that, it's very well polished, offers a fun and vibrant visual style, and has a fun soundtrack. As far as sokoban games go, I think this one is probably somewhere in the middle of the pack, but at the $3 price tag, I think it's pretty good value. It's an easy one to recommend when on sale.

과일좋아하는 직진 뱀 과일을 좋아하는 직진만 하는 뱀입니다. 뱀의 머리가 바라보는 방향을 중심으로 전좌우 3개의 방향으로 움직일 수 있으며, 이동을 하면서 맵에 있는 모든 과일을 수집을 해야 클리어할 수 있는 게임이죠. 직진을 좋아하기에 앞으로 신나게 미끄러져 가다가 돌 등의 길을 막는 오브젝트에 쿵하고 박으면서 멈춥니다. 멈춘 뱀을 다시 전좌우로 움직이게 하여 다시 주르륵 미끄러지게하며 이를 통해서 맵을 이리저리 돌아다닐 수 있죠. 당연히 뱀이 더이상 움직이지 못하게 되거나 자신의 몸통에 박게 되면 재시작이 필요하죠. 맵에는 과일들이 존재하며 뱀은 이 과일을 너무나 좋아합니다. 그렇기에 과일들을 모두 먹기 전에는 맵을 떠나려고 하지 않죠. 과일을 먹은 뒤 움직임에 따라서 소화가 이루어지며, 먹은 과일이 꼬리의 끝까지 이동하면 꼬리가 1칸 더 길어집니다. 먹으면서 성장하는 하는 느낌? 월드마다 20개의 레벨이 존재하며 월드마다 독특한 요소들이 존재합니다. 밟으면 가시가 튀어나와서 다시 밟으면 으악하는 오브젝트도 있고 밀어낼 수 있는 상자와 서로 다른 위치로 연결된 포탈이 존재하죠. 요런 친구들을 잘 파악하면서 클리어하기! 아쉬운 점 -전체 초기화만 존재하며 한단계 전으로 되돌리기는 없음

Um jogo bacaninha para quem curte quebra-cabeças e quer apoiar games brasileiros. A arte é bem bonita.

Mais um game que adquiro deste desenvolvedor. É incrivel a capacidade que a galera da Wired Dreams tem de explorar mecanicas de slide and dash. Este é o primeiro jogo onde a historia se passa com um personagem fofinho! A paleta de cores é viva e a trilha sonora completa o clima de jogo de família. Os desafios no game são apresentados gradualmente e você vai se sentindo poderoso até chegar no Mundo 3... Passar de cada fase do Mundo 3 é como se você ganhasse um quilo de novos neurônios... até chegar nos Mundos 4 e 5, onde você torra todos os neurônios adquiridos. Recomendo o game a todos que buscam um jogo casual com desafio prazeroso e estética fofinha!

障害物で止まるまで直進しか出来ないヘビを動かしてフルーツを取ってクリアするパズルで全100面（最後の20面はゲーム性がちょっと変わる）。ヘビの頭が自分の体に当たったり、行き止まりで身動き取れなくなると失敗なのでフルーツを取る順番を考えないといけない。BGMが軽快で気軽に遊べるがステージによってはややこしくて結構難しいかも。

A solid puzzle game with a lot of twists and turns! The level's solution is sometimes not the obvious one. You could solve every level within 10 minutes, and brute force it through trial and error if you want to. The artstyle, animation, and the music fits perfectly to its casual theme. Great game!

Pixel art bonita e fofa, puzzles bem interessantes, ótimo jogo pra passar um tempo!
