Weird game. I think there is actually a lot of potential in something like this, but the mini games are silly and the management aspect is clunky and shallow. Someone should try to make a good version of this game. Edit: To the dev, no need to apologise! Some people obviously like it. I'd suggest taking inspiration from the Football Manager series for better management, and to experiment with player feedback with the mini games - like I said, I think there's potential here.
Pros: - not bad idea, Cons: - game is far too casual for the price asked, - minigames are far too simple, without them game is very superficial, - during campaign you can start each level with different pilots, which makes training them pointless, investing in better planes is also pointless, your skill points are reset - you cannot take two missions at the same time, - number of planes sent seems to have no influence on outcome, each plane is considered as stand-alone during mission (so sending 5 fighters to hunt enemy fighters does not give you any advantage over sending just 2, it's still the same probability) - in Soviet campaign I quickly run out of fuel on easy level, I had no points to buy fuel, no other way to obtain fuel, so... it was fun - each day has time limit (which is not great), but the campaign will last given number of days no matter how good or bad you are doing, - crafting is unfortunately pointless due to time limitations on campaings - you either lose the planes or fix them quickly The basic concept is not bad, but the execution is rather poor - game is far too simple for the price asked, mini games are far too simple, without them you have very little influence on most of the game mechanics. Would be quiet good as sandbox game, where you try to survive as long as you can on the area, the training / crafting / survival would have more sense, strategy elements would kick in at some point, etc. In current state I did not enjoyed that, which was a shame, because after positive reviews I was expecting much more.
There was a potential in the early demo version, but now it's clear it was it's limit. This is basically a series of mini-games which in theory could have evolved in interesting rock/paper/scissors set of choices. But in the fact it's the same thing all the time. Either you are clearly superior due to surplus of actions against enemy or vice versa. Sometimes you repeatedly win despite that, because certain type of opponent makes same pattern of choices over and over again and so plays against itself. Hence, there is no game to be played. You discover pattern and win, or there is no set pattern and you lose no matter what because opponent just have 2 extra moves to counter whatever you did. Either way neither victory nor loss is earned, just suffered/given. It could have been salvaged by adding a few more variables that would keep momentum like throttle management -> speed vs radius to make opponent place bets whether you want to run or scissor to make him pass in front and actually make the choices meaningful. It's a short game, but it's capacity to entertain is way shorter yet.
lacks content even for its price, was bored half an hour in as all the mission are the same and the mechanics are bad.
Could have been fun, the idea is a good one but the execution is a frustrating game that doesn't really satisfy or offer an enjoyable experience. Winning has little satisfaction and losing is often more about luck than judgement especially when having pointless random events screwing you over or exploding aircraft killing pilots. I understand the game needs to offer a challenge but the way it does it is just stupid but more importantly takes away the fun element. I should probably explain myself better. There isn't really any management aspect of this game. Its more like gambling where you spend your funds on either more aircraft (with pilot) or the various equipment such as spares, fuel, ammo and bombs and hope you make the right choices. But this works more like taking a punt and hoping it pays dividends. Planes are expensive but you pilots quickly get fatigued so you will need extra for missions but if you don't win missions you don't get extra funds so equipment runs out. Yes there is some balancing that needs doing to get this right but its more of gamble as success in the missions feels very arbitrary. How you go early has a large bearing on weather you'll complete the "campaign" or not. Win a couple of missions early and you'll have the funds to buy what you need. Fail early and you might as well restart. Again I don't feel like I'm managing anything more like just rolling the dice and hoping my lucky numbers come up. This is fine to a point but it definitely does't feel like managing a ww2 squadron more like poker but with planes. Sorry can't recommend.
Good concept ultimately ruined by very limited and repetitive minigame and poor interface.
Как в Hearth of Iron 4 с доктринами. @Carlo. I will. Also i still hope what you game will have updates with imporving game mechanics mentioned by me. After that, i will buy it again. For now, refund.

Great art style and concept ruined by very limited and repetitive minigame loops with a lot of unnecessary downtime.
