Palermo, the late 19th century.

As a respected judge, you have always believed in the law's justice and your family's honor. In this city, the sound of the gavel is the symbol of order.

Then one day, an unsigned letter appears on your strictly confidential desk. It not only reveals hidden circumstances of a case—it predicts, word for word, the lies a witness is about to testify in court.

In the solemn courtroom, every testimony, every police report, even the atmosphere… all of it unfolds exactly as the letter said it would.

Faced with a flawless performance, do you ignore the truth and play along with the hypocrisy? Or do you become a voiceless bird trapped in a labyrinth of power?
