King always reaches checkmate.
PROS: Unlock The King is a sokoban style chess puzzle game. The goal is to move various chess pieces around a confined board to clear a path for the king to reach the goal. Though simple at first, new mechanics are introduced such as buttons that move the tiles around to create new pathways. The puzzles have a simple design to them, making finding the solutions rewarding for a lot of the later challenges. The design is simple & minimalist, with little in the way for visual flair, though the soundtrack is fairly haunting thanks to that approach. CONS: The game comes with 100 puzzles, & offers little reason to go back to play them again, unless one wants to go through an extra playthough. Thankfully, that really is the only flaw this title carries. ACHIEVEMENTS: For those who love chess, this list will come easy. All of the achievements are unlocked for clearing out all of the puzzles. None stand out as particularly difficult, but a few can test your knowledge when it comes to piece positioning. FINAL: Unlock The King is a simple but fun chess puzzle game that does exactly what it sets out to. Though there is a limited number of puzzles, the slick design helps one easily ignore that. It just does exactly what it sets out to do in a satisfying way, designed to complete at one's own pace. With an low price on top of that, I can easily recommend this game to anyone looking for a set of fun chess puzzles.
Es divertido y fácil, te pasas una tarde entretenida y más con ese precio tan bajo
fun but short puzzle game using chess mechanics. easy to learn and some puzzles can be challenging but everything is solvable. avoid the urge to look up the solutions. best to just leave the game and come back to it if you get stuck. NOTE: Level 59 might be bugged but the puzzle is still solvable. After a knight piece is moved, you can no longer activate any of the other pieces so you will have to restart the puzzle.
This is a pleasant game. Not very challenging, and not very long (I finished it completely in an hour and a half). There's no counter to compare or improve how many moves you took for a puzzle, and the puzzles never get very deep, but they don't have to. It's a light and fun diversion. I picked up the series as a bundle, and I liked it enough that I'll probably play the next one at some point.

I like this one. Some levels feel fillers to make a round number in total. And since I beaten it in two evenings it is not too hard.
Tentei fazer speedrun pra reembolsar, mas os níveis foram feitos precisamente pra gastar uma quantidade exata de tempo seu. Muito bom, recomendo se gostar de xadrez e tiver com 2 horas livres.
Chill creative puzzle game.
