About
This is Tyr, a tank shooter where positioning, strategic decision-making, and mastery of unique abilities win.
Tyr features a roster of specialized armored vehicles and pilots. You’ll take control of treaded and hover tanks alike as you angle & position for defense, and rumble and glide across the battlefield.
Each vehicle also offers its own tech tree and ammo & component slots, affording you the ability to upgrade and evolve your ride to suit your playstyle. You may even be able to change up your vehicle’s unique keystone tech to dynamically alter your personal meta.
Each vehicle features a unique power that impacts Tyr’s moment-to-moment play on the battlefield. A tank may have the ability to blink several vehicle lengths forward or back, send out a sonar pulse to spot enemies, or overcharge its engine to ram directly into an opponent and deal massive damage.
In Tyr, you and your opponents will only be visible when within range or while making enough noise. Deciding when to push forward and when to fire from cover could mean the difference between staying hidden and revealing your position to the entire enemy team, so play carefully.
Tyr will test your mental mettle, patience, and teamwork, as deliberate play beats whoever can fire the fastest.

Fun game! Despite not being a good player in shooting games, I do enjoy the game and find it fun! The graphics are great and the thought behind the game is clear! Easy to understand and great for both experienced and unexperienced players!
В игре даже нету русификатора, и не пускает поиграть без вепеена, тупые пендосы, вам никогда не сделать танки лучше НАШИХ!!!!!

Tyr is fun. Genuinely surprised by that, since multiplayer shooters usually aren't my thing. It's an 8v8 hero/tank shooter with a one-life-per-round structure (but you can leave and claim match rewards after you die), so things move fast. Each tank plays more like the cast of a hero shooter than the typical tank game roster, with voice acting and personalities and all, closer to something like Overwatch or Deadlock in how they're presented. The monetization, or lack thereof, is very good. One tier, no repair costs, no crew training, no subscription, no premium ammo, no premium tanks, and no loot boxes. You just play to earn XP and silver and unlock tanks that way. The grind isn't that bad either. Whether Stoke keeps it this generous as the game matures, no idea. This is just where things stand right now. The balance issue is snipers. The Arbalest and Ark show up in basically every match and shred people from a bush before they even know what's going on. There's a counter-sniper tank, the Kestrel, but nobody actually plays it that way in my games. Matches get decided by snipers alone way too often, I genuinely do not see this game surviving for a long time if the snipers are kept this way. It is not tenable. Communications is pretty thin right now. Right now, as it stands, you have a few pings to communicate with teammates. I get why there's no chat in the standard mode; it would get toxic fast, but it also means you are losing out on the coordination a chat would allow for. And the toxicity finds a way anyway, people just take it to the official Discord and hunt down whoever ticked them off to call them out there. Kind of pathetic, honestly. Clans are their own issue. A lot of extra goodies are gated behind them, which is fine in theory, but I haven't managed to actually join one. The recruitment channel on their Discord doesn't have any clans that have space for me or are a clan I'd I like to join, and the "join any available clan" button ingame just doesn't work for me. Devs are removing the Discord requirement for clans, which helps a bit but doesn't fix the rest of it. Overall though I'm quite excited to see where this game is headed.
Fun
Fun game, echos warthunder/world of tanks but isn't sweaty with instant death. Doesn't seem pay to win either
.
Tiene un nivel de juego bastante alto. Este no es un juego agresivo tipo el Roadout. Aquí la estrategia y el posicionamiento lo son todo. Aunque no sea mi estilo, veo un buen juego dentro de su nicho
Its not often that I've been sold on a game entirely by its user interface, but Tyr is 100% an example of that. I've never been interested in tank games before, but seeing the way the game highlights armor made me instantly curious. The aiming reticles are also thoughtfully designed to convey all the information you need cleanly and elegantly. Even the menus are extremely well thought out. I'm also a huge fan of the cruise control option and would love to see that accessibility feature available in even more games. Though I will admit, the lack of in-game text chat is definitely a very big issue, I'm remaining hopeful that it will be implemented sooner rather than later. The game has been extremely fun so far and I can't wait to see what they add to it next!
Good game.
