Reviews
This is one of the best - if not the best - puzzle games of all time. Don't look at reviews and just buy it.
Great game. Highly recommend to try and learn the game's puzzles are on your own. Its an adventure game with a fun deciphering puzzle element.

Marvelous, marvelous game. It has that feeling of playing a game as a child, not fully understanding the rules yet, and when you turn to the instruction booklet to help you realize your mom accidentally got you the Japanese copy of the game so you can't actually read it. You make do with intuition and the pretty pictures.
Absolutely loved this game. I had more fun translating and solving the puzzles than I did taking on the bosses. It's a game that rewards you for playing however you want to play it. Feel like rushing through and fighting all the things? sure, go for it! Feel like questioning every little pixel and sound effect? Awesome, you're in for a treat! It was a fantastic experience. Clever and challenging. It's a work of art
this game changed my life. i wish i could play it for the very first time again
HOLY GAMING (je compte pas m'arrêter là, le jeu me cache encore quelque chose)
I love this game so much. The puzzles are incredible (especially the endgame ones!) and always manage to make me feel great after solving them. The combat can definitely feel lackluster at times (especially when fighting the
Siege Engine; the collision between its body and legs felt too big when trying to closely circle around it
), but the beauty of a lot of the puzzles more than makes up for the combat's shortcomings. Some of the puzzles are definitely on the obscure side, but everything is reasonable to solve without any external help, which is always a great feature of any singleplayer puzzle-rich game. The art direction and music are both excellent. If you love other puzzle-rich exploration games like Animal Well or FEZ, definitely give this a try. TUNIC is well worth the time and energy that I invested into it. 9/10
If you like games that reward exploration, have fun and balanced combat, and simply look gorgeous, this game is for you. The combat may be hard to grasp initially, some puzzles may be confusing and the story takes a back seat; but these are merely frayed edges on an otherwise masterful piece of art 10/10, would play again.
