Reviews
So this is undeniably a great game, although it is difficult to recommend because it is a challenging mix of puzzles, action, and adventure that can easily scare off someone that isn't really good at all 3 of those game styles
A phenomenal zelda-like experience that allows you to do basically anything from the start if you have the hindsight, and slowly drip-feeds you new things to do and constantly recontextualizes everything in its world, keeping the experience fresh and consistently high-quality all throughout

A game with genuinely very clever puzzles and a world that is very pleasant to explore.
this game utterly consumed me for like a month or so. it's adorable, engaging and unforgiving in equal measure. the gameplay loop evokes something that i haven't felt since i was very young. a sense of stumbling through a game, not having grasped any core mechanics and therefore making no progress, but walking around anyway and basking in what little i had the intuition and the guts to encounter. nothing is known from the get-go. mechanics are deliberately withheld, every new zone traps you and pits you against challenge you won't feel prepared for at all. but this time was different from my past: i wasn't scared of the unknown anymore, and this let me explore the game, the runback to each death giving me a slightly clearer glimpse of the world than the last. a first-time blind playthrough is an experience that cannot be replicated; do not look anything up, but do bring a notebook and a pencil. even if like me you only use it minimally in a useful way, it's fun to take notes of your own reactions. the soundtrack is excellent, though i dislike how it returns to the start of the loop every time you re-enter an area or use a savepoint, makes it get a bit grating. very tiny nitpick, this! the combat sucks 10/10
Epic soundtrack, epic gameplay and a near-perfect weekend experience!
Dark Souls meets Zelda but the puzzles are also as hard as the combat
Genuinely one of the most engrossing games I have ever played in my life, there are so many layers to it, every time you think you've got the game figured out everything flips on its head, the art and music are fantastic as well, it combines elements of so many genres in such unique ways. When I first played it, I was so sucked in that I spent an entire weekend doing nothing but playing through for 20 hours until I beat the true ending.
