I bought this game at a discount and was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's early access and the game is clearly not yet polished, but it's a fun experience for the price. The coolest thing is the mech mechanic. You can stay inside your robot and smash enemies, or jump out and run around on foot while the mech covers you. Sounds weird on paper, but it actually works - dodging attacks as a tiny human, then hopping back into the cockpit for heavy firepower feels fresh. Plus you can scroll the mouse wheel to switch views on the fly: first-person, third-person, or top-down. Plays really smoothly with a controller too. Graphics are simple but clean. The main heroine actually looks nicely designed - not just some generic placeholder model you sometimes see in small indie games. Skill tree is straightforward: kill stuff, get points, spend them how you like. No spreadsheets or theorycrafting needed - just pick what feels fun to upgrade next. This game isn't trying to be a masterpiece, and it doesn't overcomplicate things. Sometimes after a long day you just want to boot something up, play for half an hour, and unwind. This fits that mood perfectly. There aren't many locations yet and the story's barely there, but you can tell the devs are trying something original instead of copying the same old formulas. If they keep updating it, this could grow into something neat. For now, at this price (especially with the discount), it's definitely worth a try.
For a shooter game it's very good if I'm not mistaken the game was made by 1 person and this is a very good result for him he is very talented. As for the game I can say that so far I've spent a couple of hours in it and I liked the graphics at the level of destroying enemies also has good animation not default pumping is balanced I didn't find any imbalance in it and the most important thing is Zlata you will remember this waifu for a long time
Nice graphics, works well on Steam Deck. The gameplay loop is not as great. The hordes of enemies never stop coming so you run out of ammo. you collect ammo by shooting different colored crystals found in the environment, then crafting them, very clunky as your being swarmed. There needs to be at least a melee option and a breather between hordes please! Game has promise and I only paid 2 bucks, but I hope it gets more work done on it. As it sits now I cant recommend because it was frustrating. 3/18/26 Looks like it's not getting any more updates so definitely do not buy.
Rough, too rough. The biggest issue is that it was badly translated from Russian so english speakers will have difficulty figuring out what's going on. There might have been some snappy one-liners and solid characterization in there but I can't understand it. Combat is also unengaging. It doesn't seem more complex than "Aim at target and hold M1 until target Hp=0, occasionally back up out of melee range" Not sure what to make of the exploration. I basically gave up once I reaiized the first boss was just a giant HP blob that seemed to take the better part of an hour to grind through. I think I'll check this out in a year or two to see if it improves.
I played Try to Survive Today for a couple of evenings. Like Vampire Survivors, everything here is built around gradual power-ups as you survive: you kill enemies, collect their souls, and immediately invest them in upgrading your damage, health, or new abilities. It feels like a snowball effect: at first, you're barely able to cope with a couple of monsters, but ten minutes later, you're clearing entire waves in a single volley. There is a difference, of course: here you have complete control—you aim and dodge, and there's no auto-attack like in the original. But the idea of literally growing stronger every few seconds by defeating enemies works just as reliably. The minimalist leveling system, without unnecessary skill tree branches, also resembles the sleek approach of Vampire Survivors: choose an upgrade, get an immediate reward, and move on. The graphics are restrained, the interface is unobtrusive, the music is unobtrusive everything contributes to the gameplay. It's clear that the project is in early access, but the basic mechanics of "kill → level up → survive" are well-established and provide that same sense of progress that many played the aforementioned vampire survival game for.
Kudos to the developers for the third-person view. This is a pretty interesting survival game where we will colonize an entire planet, playing as an attractive lady. There are a lot of mechanics here, you can upgrade skills and weapons, but the most interesting thing is getting into the robot and destroying enemies. The gameplay is very dynamic, there are many missions, and the graphics are stunning with their beautiful landscapes. You can get hooked on it for a long time, and it's worth it.
