The areas you see in the screenshots dont even exist in the game. Theres only one basic backrooms map, without any exit.
Total misrepresentation! There is only one map with no functional exit. There is no entity. The screenshots are of areas that don't even exist in the game. This isn't a game, it's a scam. Buyer beware!
This game looks like it would of had potential but the dev either didn't upload the right build of the game or something because there is only 1 level and no exit despite the screenshots on the store page showing otherwise. There was no entity either and the only thing that happened when I played was the lights flickering and the one instance of the game stealing my voice when I was talking to myself for the video and replaying it later on when I was walking around. Wouldn't recommend until the dev updates the game or says something on the discussion board cause like most of the game isn't there https://youtu.be/nLj6sppm_0Q

This is honestly the best and most accurate Backrooms game ever made. It is extremely faithful to the Extensive Lore and Expanded Universe featured on The Backrooms Wiki and the amount of content is simply staggering. If you click the "random article" button on the wiki, you can be guaranteed you'll find something that's also in this game. I've seen a bunch of people get stuck in the opening area, so here are some tips and tricks to help you progress: - The first exit is near an electrical outlet. There are a few in this Level, but the specific one is underneath some graffiti that reads "FISH SQUAMOSUM" (this makes sense if you're familiar with the Lore written by the famed Backrooms author VaporLiminalMario64). Make sure you grabbed the rusty spoon at the beginning of the game (it's directly behind the starting area through a wall with no collision) or you won't be able to flip the switch in the socket to open the exit. - The scary squiggle monster only moves when you aren't looking at it, but it will also charge you if you stare at it for too long. As an aside, as someone who has been playing indie horror games for decades, this is a brilliant idea for a monster's behavior and frankly I'm stunned that I've never seen it done in an indie horror game before. - Keep an eye out for any bottles of almond water that have a tiny purple cat sticker on them. They are usually guarded by one-to-three Goofy Gigglers, but you can easily defeat them by moaning pathetically into your microphone. If you drink enough of these special almond water bottles your third eye will be opened. This does nothing. - This next part should be pretty obvious, but to open the locked exit in the poolrooms you must count the total number of Sinister Inner Tubes, multiply that by the number of mold stains in the shape of a person that you saw in Level 0 (I hope you were counting them all), divide them by the total number of steps you've taken so far, and then use the passcode 12345 to open the door. - If you wait around too long in the forest, the 𝓢𝓵𝓾𝓽𝓽𝔂 𝓛𝓾𝓶𝓫𝓮𝓻𝓳𝓪𝓬𝓴 will slowly transform you into a tree before he chops you down. This process takes a bit of time, but you can prevent this by posting your grandma's home address on the forums. - The exit door in the Freddy Fazbear Level (the one where you're being chased by Sans Undertale and Luigi.exe) will only open once you've bought five additional copies of this game from the Steam Store and gifted them to your friends. That's everything I can think of at the moment. The rest should come naturally to anyone with an encyclopedic knowledge of Backrooms Lore. I'll update this review if I can think of anything I missed.
Developed by WafflePaws, and released in 2016, the game is what you can see in the video. Albeit the screenshots on Steam seem to show a forest level, this is not present in the game, as attested by a user. I can't recommend it due to this, and, honestly, left me extremely angry since I lost my time searching for something that is not in the game... I have learned valuable life lessons from this game... it opened my eyes to what the backrooms really is... and what it does to your mind...
This game is ABSOLUTELY amazing. This gave me a whole new perspective to life. The soundtrack, combined with the beautiful graphics and immaculate storytelling makes this a REALLY unique experience. Easily in my top 10 list of favourite games. Heck, i'd even say this is better than Tepus!
