Игра явно не стоит того, чтобы в ней покупать... Тележка неуправляема, меняющиеся задники не дают никакого кайфа для глаз, а сюжет... а зачем он??

Developed by Mantis Games and published by Displacement Studios, Trolley Gold delivers a cheerful arcade experience built around the classic theme of gold mining. Instead of aiming for realism, the game embraces a playful style where players take charge of a mining trolley tasked with catching valuable gold as it falls from above while avoiding numerous dangers scattered throughout each stage. The premise is intentionally simple, allowing players to jump into the action almost immediately, yet the game steadily introduces enough hazards and environmental variety to keep its straightforward concept engaging over the course of the adventure. The heart of the gameplay revolves around timing, positioning, and maintaining control of the trolley as increasingly difficult situations unfold. Gold must be gathered efficiently while hostile creatures, obstacles, and hazardous terrain constantly threaten the mining crew. The physics-based movement gives the trolley a satisfying sense of weight, making every adjustment require careful judgment rather than instant precision. As players advance through the campaign, success depends less on luck and more on mastering movement, learning enemy behavior, and reacting quickly to unexpected situations. The gradual increase in difficulty ensures that early levels remain welcoming while later stages provide a worthwhile challenge for players seeking to improve their skills. A notable strength of Trolley Gold lies in its presentation and progression through several distinct mining regions inspired by locations around the world. Every environment introduces its own visual identity, unique hazards, and fresh enemy designs, helping the game avoid feeling too repetitive despite its focused mechanics. The hand-drawn art style gives the adventure a colorful personality, creating environments that are easy to read while maintaining a charming cartoon aesthetic. Character animations and visual effects are modest but fit the game's lighthearted tone, while the soundtrack and sound effects reinforce the energetic pace without becoming distracting during longer play sessions. Beyond the arcade action, the game includes interesting snippets of historical information related to gold mining, giving players small educational moments between stages. This extra layer of content adds personality without interrupting the overall flow of gameplay. A stage rating system also encourages replayability by rewarding efficient performances and larger gold collections, motivating players to revisit completed levels in pursuit of higher scores. While the core gameplay mechanics remain consistent throughout the experience, the pursuit of better rankings and cleaner runs gives dedicated players an additional incentive to refine their techniques. Trolley Gold is not without its shortcomings. Its limited gameplay loop means players looking for deep progression systems, extensive upgrades, or major gameplay innovations may find the experience somewhat repetitive over extended sessions. The mechanics stay relatively consistent from beginning to end, placing greater emphasis on player skill than on introducing entirely new features. Fortunately, the game's modest scope works in its favor when enjoyed in shorter bursts, where its accessible controls and satisfying arcade structure remain entertaining without overstaying their welcome. Overall, Trolley Gold succeeds as a charming indie arcade platformer that combines accessible controls, colorful visuals, and rewarding skill-based gameplay into an enjoyable package. Its emphasis on precise movement, hazard avoidance, and efficient gold collection creates a satisfying gameplay loop that is easy to understand but still capable of providing genuine challenge. Although it does not reinvent the genre or offer significant mechanical depth, it accomplishes its goals with confidence and delivers an entertaining adventure suited for players who appreciate classic arcade design with a cheerful mining theme. Rating: 5/10
From an educational point of view, the gamer learns about the gold rush in the 19th century. From a gameplay point of view, this is an amusing Arkanoid-style game in which you need to fill a mine trolley with falling gold and ore. There's a time limit on each of the 25 randomized levels and obstacles such as bombs and saws, while power-ups may give a hand. This game isn't bad. In fact, with some tune-up it could become a very decent indie title. More types of powerups would add variety, the trolley should have been faster and the speed of the incoming gold slower, because now if the trolley is in the screen's left part and gold is falling fast towards the center, you can't collect it without boost from a speed power-up. As a result, the game is more luck-based than it should be.
Trolley Gold is a game about collecting gold during the Gold Rush era. You control a trolley that needs to collect the gold that's coming down as your partner mines it. The gold will fly in different directions, so you need to guide the trolley in the right direction in order to catch it. You have a time limit to catch a certain percentage of gold and to fill your trolley cart. You must also avoid obstacles like falling rocks and various tools being thrown across the screen. There are 5 worlds that each have 5 levels in them and you are rated and can obtain up to three stars. The level design has a pretty flat background with various setups for the gold to fall down. You've got some upbeat music to go along with your mining buddy's twang of the pickaxe mining the gold. I never bothered to finish the first world because it was getting quite repetitive, boring, and a little frustrating whether it was running out of time or having my trolley break down because too many rocks fell in it. I don't see anyone wanting to play this game, so I'm not recommending it.

So bad
This is one of those "catch stuff in the cart" games, but with really poor control over the cart and too much debris falling at you all the time. The reason this shovelware taking advantage of card sales wasn't purged with the rest of that ilk completely baffles me. If you really want to play something like this, go look through Armor Games for something free and better.
