About

In TCM, meet Mori (fly-by-night party punk), Amir (lithe, conniving socialite), and Akello (certified DILF)- three mostly-normal, hot men who find themselves embroiled in the supernatural. Choose which path to pursue as you uncover their real demonic natures, catch feelings, and get busy with them at your discretion. The city's a dangerous place, however, and even worse things are lurking in grungy alleys to catch you (and your beau) off guard.
Explore each character's struggles in pursuit of their goals in further upcoming chapters, set to release regularly.

What does it mean to be human? In Tri City Monsters you'll come face to face with the answers. Mori, Amir, and Akello all lead very separate lives with their own problems but they all have one thing in common: they've traded their humanity for power but they all got more than they bargained for- and with some greater power making moves from the shadows, the dangers are a lot higher than any of them anticipated.
Help them cope with what's happened to them- by embracing their new demonic forms or by holding on to their humanity, the choice is yours- and maybe forge a deep and permanent connection. In one form or another.

i love the characters and all the plots are intriguing! but the mc is just. so. WHINY. and NEEDY. maybe it's because i'm aromantic, but the way the mc feels so strongly about the guy after only knowing him for probably a week at most makes me uncomfortable. after fooling around with Mori a few times, they want the relationship to be official - i'm also very fond of the furry fella, but a serious relationship? this soon? when Amir recounts the trauma of his late husband, the mc deems it appropriate to kiss them? sure, they're into it, but i feel like something less sensual might have worked better. yes, i know this is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game, but that timing felt very inappropriate to me. i haven't played Akello's route yet, so i don't have anything to say about that. again, this might just be because i don't know anything about how real romantic relationships work, but the needy, whiny way in which the mc acts when they catch feelings and haven't confessed yet makes me groan out loud in frustration each time. you can just be friends and still ♥♥♥♥ around and care deeply for each other!! anyway, excluding all of that, i do really love this game and am looking forward to more!
I really want to like this game, but I just... can't? I guess it's one of those I wish I could give a neutral to, instead of just a no, but alas. I would like to say I deeply applaud the art direction. I'm an otome fan in a genre where the dateable candidates are never to my liking (pretty boys are so tiring); so to see something... slightly... more my speed (at least on the same highway) is nice. Granted, I've not gotten to what's finished yet - I've skimmed through to both Amir and Mori's chapter 2s and I just, I dunno. It's just not doing it. I realize that visual novels are, well, visual novels, but I do expect some choice with them. And you're not really given any here. Oh, you get to click boxes, but they all amount to the same thing. So far I've not met a choice that leads anywhere different, or anything. Like, you can't ever be a little pissed about some of the actions these guys take? No, you just 100% are down with everything they do. It doesn't make me feel like I have a choice in the matter, which leaves me feeling just eeky. I don't need to be blushing every five minutes over them doing something stupid or obnoxious. I want to choose what I find charming and I don't think that's really too much to ask. I hope more games come out with this aesthetic, for sure, but I also hope they come out with better characterization (we get it, Amir, you ♥♥♥♥, you've been written expressly for all the people who went after BG3's Astarion, and yet even as a certified BG3 disliker, even I found Astarion at least nominally better written as you could actually confront him for being ♥♥♥♥♥♥) for both dateables and the MC. I do love you can pick gender/sex attributes, that's nice, but I'd like a little more than that to really shape the character's personality. Hair/eye color and even body type picker can help distinguish MCs a lot, especially if given attention to in dialogue. Maybe I'll change my mind by going further down a path but as it stands right now, this is just kinda meh writing in a kind-of-pleasing-to-my-specific-tastes package. Edit: Give us a Raath path. He's honestly the most compellingly-written character of the bunch. I'd also like to add that unless you choose the sexual options the first time down most of the paths, things run together in an odd way. What I mean is, that I chose to not pursue Mori sexually the first two times it gave me the option. But then it acted like we definitely had? So my choice basically had no meaning whatsoever. Another thing that really doesn't feel good.
Amicalement, Le pasteur .
i think about these characters so much oough
Yeah this game's good. Genuinely interesting lore and well-written dialogue that doesn't feel cringe or hard to get through. I also realllly enjoy the mechanics of being able to swap info for the player character at-will.
Absolutely obsessed!
