Horribly unoptimized mess of a game. Literally getting stutters every 10 seconds. Unplayable.

Fine, still
One of the scariest games I have played, This game puts you in the shoes of what war can be like, not just during but post war and the health problems attached to it, Eerie with fantastic atmosphere. Would highly recommend. See my gameplay below: https://youtu.be/V1-Cr6pEzt8
It's hard for me to imagine what life within the trenches in The Great War. For what I've read and heard, I hope no one ever experiences it. It's funny, a setting like WWI should be easy to create horror game. Though I've extensively not put the hunt for WWI horror game or any genera within the setting. Perhaps MMOs are more common. Otherwise, extremely few reach the attention general gamers. So Trenches takes the setting and sets the player to a single solder, who wants to escape the their lonely nightmare. Escape back home, to their family. Only, can they live with what they've experienced. The Nightmare blends the events of happened after with the trenches. A simple game, simple story, hunted, collect, escape.
Trenches is a creepy journey into the horrors of WWI. Gameplay wise, it's very reminiscent of Amnesia and Outlast; a stealth horror game at it's core, and no real means to defend yourself. The game can be very jumpscare heavy if this feature it's not turned off, which becomes annoying very quickly and I wish there was a way to lower it, instead of turning it off completely. Graphics wise, the trenches look scary and maze like; too much maze like if you're being chased by the monster. I advise you to watch some gameplay before playing. The game runs perfectly well on Steam Deck. If you want to check how it runs on Steam Deck, just press the link below: https://youtu.be/6M8LdWhMGa8
Um jogo que parecia bom, porém não conseguiu prender minha atenção.
the marketing went insane
https://youtu.be/TrIvHFvJccc There just isn't enough going on to apply pressure or express goals for the player.
