Too scary, but laughed with boyfriend as I played. Scary baby doll made us both nope out.
I enjoy a good scare, and this is a good scare. For a game developed by one person, this is a very good start. Not found any bugs or glitches so far, solid controls and the most tense first person horror experience I've had since Amnesia. Looking forward to more from this developer.
to reliant on jump scares that make no sense
Horrible game, in no way worth 10$, absolutely has nothing to do with ww1.
In sostanza: uno Slender Man evoluto, breve, graficamente nella media. Se lo trovate in bundle, provatelo.
I play a ♥♥♥♥ ton of Horror Games but IM NOT BUILD FOR TS 🙏 literally got me shaking when that thing came walking to me
One of the scariest games I have played, This game puts you in the shoes of what war can be like, not just during but post war and the health problems attached to it, Eerie with fantastic atmosphere. Would highly recommend. See my gameplay below: https://youtu.be/V1-Cr6pEzt8
Game five me 90min of fun and fear. Well done
"Trenches" attempts to blend horror elements with a World War I setting, offering players a unique survival experience. Pros: - The game's World War I trenches provide a unique and potentially immersive environment for a horror game. - The game incorporates original World War I style photographs and letters, adding a layer of authenticity and historical context to the experience. -Offers numerous jump scares and moments of tension, which can be effective in creating a spooky atmosphere, especially for players new to the horror genre. Cons: -The game suffers from lackluster graphics, like excessive fog and poor texture detail detract from the overall experience. - The control scheme, finding it awkward and unresponsive. - The game's storyline and gameplay are relatively short, offering limited replay value. Conclusion While "Trenches" presents an intriguing concept by setting a horror game in the trenches of World War I, it falls a bit short in execution. "Trenches" might appeal to players interested in the unique setting or those looking for a brief horror experience, but it may disappoint those seeking a polished and deeply engaging horror game. I give it 3/5 found notes.
Trenches is a creepy journey into the horrors of WWI. Gameplay wise, it's very reminiscent of Amnesia and Outlast; a stealth horror game at it's core, and no real means to defend yourself. The game can be very jumpscare heavy if this feature it's not turned off, which becomes annoying very quickly and I wish there was a way to lower it, instead of turning it off completely. Graphics wise, the trenches look scary and maze like; too much maze like if you're being chased by the monster. I advise you to watch some gameplay before playing.
