I thank the developer amongst others for asking if I would play this game, amongst others, on my channel. And I have, so here's my take on his game! A pretty challenging game that feels mostly solid in playability. If your into this style of visuals, and enjoy puzzle games. Then I do recommend such a game as this. https://youtu.be/_b5gLqCbtqU
Difficult puzzle and logic game. Stuck on Level 7 already. Might come back to it later.
I will make it short because there is not much to say. For me this game is not worth the purchase because it's pretty boring. 4€ is way too much for what it is.
This game is so good! But gets difficult & harder level by another. Soundtracks are so cool! 10/10
I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
Very old schoold feeling and not that easy as it looks, visually and mechanically outdated but it is what is show it is pretty good and challenging puzzle game.
Tags: Casual - Object Routes & Flinger Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Unsatisfying game where you hug walls and transfer from wall to wall to navigate to target. Use a crosshair to shoot dirt blocks away. Gimmicky. No out of box gamepad support, the setting in the intro is laughable, the character controls poorly because of the maze navigation gimmick, overall lack of effort on the quality of the title. EXTREMELY BORING. Unrewarding to progress, get stuck easy, induces depression Note: Managed to get to level 3 and could not progress. Not sure if it was a problem with the level design or if I just had issues controlling the game either way I gave up there. Long play time is from farming cards overnight years ago. Review:This is a game where you control a square that is permanently glued to whatever wall he touches, and then has to hug that wall, in full circle, to find a place where corridors touch and he can transfer over, you can then navigate him using that new wall towards collecting little blue crystals, when you get all the crystals you can leave the maze You get a crosshair reticle to clear away some pre-assigned dirt blocks, there arent a ton of them so the creativity isnt really there since most walls cant be cleared in that manner It gets really boring really quick, retro or not, the sound design was very lacking, the game had no atmospheric or tone to it based on the intro, and overall made a very poor first impression It almost comes across like the developper wanted to make a game for mobile but couldnt code in the gyroscope mechanic and released the half baked product on steam instead. There is even an Ipad in the intro Conclusion: Its Nu-Retro, would rather fill a crosswords puzzle out of a newspaper than play this. Its boring me to tears, and really is unbefitting of the PC platform even if it was done right... which this isnt.
Trap Them Sniper Edition is a situational puzzle game. I love abstract puzzles (I've gotten every achievement in Hook, Hexcells, and Hexcells Plus, and am working through Lyne) but this game and I don't mix well. Somehow I got stuck on the 4th cave of the first level. The "Get Started" level, in which I am supposed to be learning mechanics. . . I may come back to it some day, because I do love the bite-size levels, but right now I'm less playing and more staring at a screen while the timer ticks up.

Trap Them – Sniper Edition is a puzzle-action title developed and published by Juri Schupilo that combines precision shooting with environmental problem-solving to create a gameplay experience focused more on planning than raw reflexes. Rather than approaching the sniper genre through military simulation or large-scale combat scenarios, the game builds its identity around tactical experimentation and puzzle-solving. Every level challenges players to think beyond simply aiming accurately, encouraging careful observation and strategic decision-making before pulling the trigger. The game's central concept revolves around using a sniper rifle not purely as a combat tool but as a way to manipulate environments and solve challenges. Instead of placing players into traditional firefights, Trap Them – Sniper Edition asks them to examine situations carefully and determine how objects, traps, and enemy positioning can work together to create successful outcomes. This structure gives the game a distinct personality, separating it from more conventional shooting experiences. Progression depends heavily on patience and understanding level layouts. Every stage presents players with situations that reward thoughtful planning rather than impulsive action. Taking a shot too early can disrupt an entire strategy, while proper timing often leads to satisfying chain reactions and efficient completions. The game constantly reinforces the importance of observation, transforming each scenario into a small tactical puzzle where preparation matters just as much as execution. One of the game's strongest qualities comes from its accessibility. The basic mechanics are easy to understand, allowing players to engage with the experience quickly without needing to master complicated systems. The simplicity of its core design works in its favor because it keeps focus entirely on solving challenges and improving performance. Players spend less time learning controls and more time refining their approach to increasingly demanding situations. The sniper mechanics themselves contribute heavily to the experience's appeal. Precision remains important throughout progression, but accuracy alone rarely guarantees success. Players must balance timing, positioning, and environmental awareness to achieve optimal outcomes. This additional layer of tactical thinking gives the shooting mechanics greater purpose beyond simply eliminating targets. The pacing also benefits from the game's focused design. Levels are structured in a way that supports shorter gameplay sessions without sacrificing engagement. Players can tackle individual challenges without needing major time commitments, making the experience suitable both for quick play sessions and longer periods spent improving strategies or refining solutions. Visual presentation follows a straightforward approach that emphasizes gameplay clarity over technical spectacle. The environments remain readable and functional, helping players identify important objects and environmental opportunities quickly. The streamlined visual direction complements the puzzle-focused gameplay effectively because it keeps attention centered on solving challenges rather than unnecessary distractions. The game's smaller scope naturally creates some limitations. Players looking for deep progression systems, narrative-heavy content, or large-scale shooter mechanics may find the experience more specialized than expected. Trap Them – Sniper Edition commits heavily to its puzzle-action identity and avoids expanding significantly beyond that formula. Replay value depends largely on player enjoyment of optimization and experimentation. Those who enjoy revisiting challenges to improve efficiency or discover alternative solutions may find additional value beyond initial completion. The game rewards mastery and encourages players to refine their tactics over time. The challenge curve gradually introduces more demanding situations that require increasingly careful planning. Early scenarios help establish the fundamentals, while later stages ask players to apply those lessons under more complex conditions. This steady progression creates satisfying growth without overwhelming players too quickly. What ultimately makes Trap Them – Sniper Edition stand out is its willingness to combine two very different gameplay concepts into something cohesive. Precision shooting and environmental puzzle-solving rarely share equal importance in action games, yet the title successfully builds its identity around that combination. It understands its strengths and remains focused on delivering a concentrated experience rather than overcomplicating its design. For players who enjoy puzzle games with tactical thinking, environmental interaction, and lighter sniper mechanics built around strategy rather than simulation, Trap Them – Sniper Edition delivers an entertaining experience that rewards patience, planning, and creative problem-solving.
