A simple 3D puzzle platformer with turn-based movement. Finishing levels isn't necessary, you only need to collect stars which takes less than 5 minutes.
a cute and simple platform puzzle in 3D with turn based movements. isn't strictly necessary to finish all levels for master it, you need just collect stars that takes circa circa 6minutes. if you want completing the level, you need collect keys it depends on each level before to reach to the exit. for who love puzzles and logic, is welcomed.
Trap Roller is a 3D platformer game. The game has some inspiration from Kula from the old PS1 console. This game, the player can move on all sides. The Mission is to collect all keys at every level which opens the exit. The game has 11 levels total. Dell 3480 with Arc Xe graphics and RTX A500 discrete graphics. Game is very playable.
Warning: AI Slop This game is partially or completely made with talentless, soulless AI generated content.
It seems Tero has now discovered AI slop and is just getting ChatGPT to make entire fake games for him instead of his usual MO of just stealing other people's games and asset packs and trying to scam people into buying them. Now he's trying to scam people into paying money for AI slop. This is just as bad. This is a non-game, a fake game, basically just 10 slop generated levels of a realtime grid pathing puzzle... move on the grid, avoid obstacles, get the key, learn new levels of disappointment for just how bad Steam Direct allows abuse of the store. Tero Lunkka/Valkeala Software have shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab, through this account or through closely linked/alt accounts. The developers didn't design the game for modern gaming PCs, as such the display resolution caps out at 1080p, a very low resolution that became mainstream back in 2006 and became obsolete when 4K entered the mainstream in 2014. The game simply won't look right on modern gaming displays due to this failure on the part of the developers. The graphics aren't great, minimalist untextured low poly assets... probably all vibe coded. That will understandably a turn off for a lot of gamers, and it's a big contributor to the failure of the game to attract gamers despite having no up-front cost. Gaming is a primarily visual medium, and if developers want to succeed, they must understand that it's not an area for compromise. You deserve better than compromises. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render the game unplayable for differently-abled gamers, left handed gamers or gamers using AZERTY or other international keyboard layouts. These flaws make this game fall far short of the professional standards we expect from a modern PC game. The poor quality of this game is reflected by how many people spent time with it. At the time of this review, SteamDB shows the all-time peak player number was only 3 players. This is a remarkably low number, and now, the only player activity occurs once or twice a month, presumably someone loading it up to see what it is then quickly uninstalling it. Considering there's over 130 million gamers on Steam and well over 140,000 games for gamers to choose from, the overwhelming lack of interest in this low quality game is to be expected. It's also important to note the "developer" here has connections to a number of shady Russian asset flippers and review manipulators who show an organised pattern to scam and defraud gamers with fake reviews and asset flipping the work of others for profit. While reviews are about the games, gamers should be informed when developers act unethically. Whether these connections are the same developer using multiple accounts, or just working closely with other unethical developers, gamers should be warned about the harm to gamers by this developer and their associates. Buying games from unethical developers puts your money at risk. Now on to pricing and value for gamers. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 140,000+ games on Steam? Trap Roller is relatively cheap at $2 USD, but it's not worth it. There's enough defects and quality problems with this game that it's not worth recommending to gamers, but the unethical nature of the developer/their associates makes it completely impossible.
Trap Roller, developed by Tero Lunkka and Valkeala Software and published by Valkeala Software, is a straightforward physics-based platformer that builds its entire identity around a simple but demanding concept: guiding a rolling ball through hazard-filled stages while racing against time. It doesn’t attempt to disguise its minimalism or expand beyond its core idea, instead leaning fully into a focused, arcade-style experience where precision and control are the primary challenges. The result is a game that feels intentionally small in scope, offering a concentrated test of skill rather than a layered or expansive journey. The gameplay loop is easy to understand from the outset. Each level places you in control of a ball that must navigate a series of platforms, obstacles, and traps while collecting keys required to unlock the exit. Along the way, optional collectibles encourage players to explore more carefully and aim for completion beyond simply reaching the goal. A time limit adds pressure to every run, forcing you to balance caution with efficiency. This creates a constant tension between playing it safe and taking risks, particularly in later levels where paths become more complex and hazards more frequent. What defines the experience is its physics-driven movement. The ball responds to momentum rather than strict directional input, which means every action carries weight. Turning, accelerating, and stopping all require a sense of timing and control that takes practice to develop. In its stronger moments, this system creates a satisfying sense of mastery, as players learn to anticipate how the ball will behave and adjust accordingly. However, it can also feel inconsistent, especially early on, when the lack of precision makes mistakes feel more punishing than intentional. Success often comes from adapting to the quirks of the movement rather than relying on exact control. Level design builds on this foundation by introducing a variety of obstacles that test both timing and spatial awareness. Spikes, moving platforms, and narrow pathways are used to create increasingly difficult scenarios, pushing players to refine their approach as they progress. The structure remains fairly linear, but the gradual increase in complexity helps maintain a sense of progression. While the game doesn’t introduce many new mechanics, it manages to keep the challenge evolving by combining existing elements in more demanding ways. Visually, Trap Roller keeps things simple and functional. The environments are clean and uncluttered, making it easy to read the layout of each level and focus on navigation. This clarity is important given the precision required, though it comes at the cost of variety and visual identity. The presentation does its job without drawing attention to itself, and the same can be said for the audio, which remains subtle and largely unobtrusive throughout the experience. One of the game’s more noticeable limitations is its scope. With a relatively small number of levels and little in the way of additional modes or progression systems, the experience is quite brief. Once players have completed the available stages and become familiar with the mechanics, there is little left to discover beyond improving performance or collecting missed items. This lack of depth can make the game feel repetitive, particularly for those looking for a more varied or long-term experience. At the same time, this simplicity can also be seen as part of its appeal. Trap Roller doesn’t attempt to be more than it is—it offers a focused challenge built around a single mechanic and delivers it consistently. There are no distractions or unnecessary systems, just a clear objective and the tools needed to achieve it. For players who enjoy skill-based platformers and are willing to work through its rough edges, this can be enough to create moments of genuine satisfaction. In the end, Trap Roller stands as a modest but competent entry in the platforming genre. It provides a straightforward, physics-driven challenge that can be engaging in short sessions, even if it lacks the depth and variety to sustain long-term interest. While it may not leave a lasting impression, it offers a solid, no-frills experience for those looking for a simple test of precision and patience. Rating: 6/10
Trap Roller – to zręcznościowa gierka 3d w której sterujemy kulką i musimy zebrać wszystkie klucze, żeby odblokować przejście zanim skończy się czas. Piłka jest przyklejona do powierzchni, więc możemy wchodzić na ściany i jeździć do góry nogami, uważając przy tym na pułapki. Da się zdobyć wszystkie osiągnięcia. ✅ Mi się podobała, polecam 👍😎
