If you are interested in public transport, this game is a must have. The detail on some routes are absolutely incredible. A great example of this is the details in this game is the new enhanced lighting. Driving can be a bit boring at times if you are on the same route for a while. The control cabs of the trains are also extremely detailed with functional safety systems (older routes may not have these). In the event I do get bored, I just play conductor (guard mode) as a way to have a break from driving. The core routes of the Airedale and Wharfedale lines, Miami Tri-Rail and Wurzburg to Nurnberg are well detailed in my opinion. If there was any advice I would give anyone who has an interest on buying this game I would tell them to buy it when the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition is on sale, I would suggest doing the same for DLCs as they can be quite expensive off sale with one example being WCML Milton Keynes to Crewe being about £33. Overall, I would recommend buying this if you are into public transport but if you are to buy anything beyond standard edition, I would wait for a sale. My only complaint is that as of, early access for pre-orders, is that the core routes are not optimised well at times and can be laggy. (Review heavily modified from my TSW 6 review.)

Leider schade.
I didn't expect much from Dovetail—just that the ICE 4 would match the quality of the existing trains—but nope. - The braking behavior isn't what it should be. (the whole handling is weird) - Because of that weird braking behavior, the AFB acts strangely too. - And the LZB sounds are missing—or at least very sporadic. -The "Roadrunner" (train length counter) and other useful features are also missing, even though there are vehicles capable of this (e.g., the BR 193). Considering it was sold and marketed as a separate product, it’s simply disappointing. Performance might have improved a bit, but that's about it.
Adding DLSS/FSR but making frame generation only for FSR is really smart. Why can't I change the DLSS profile in the Nvidia app and at least turn on smooth motion there so it works properly? Thanks for at least adding cloud saves in Steam.
good miami route, just have a good gpu
Was laggy to start with but is sort of smoothing out, I like all three core routes to a point, the German route is actually a new route, unlike in TSW6, the US route is actually a new operator, unlike TSW5 and 6, and it was about time we got new Northern stock for the UK. The timetable layers on the Airedale and Wharfdale lines are a bit questionable, a 2025 era tt with EMT Class 43 HST's present? Downloading this wasn't fun, this is my first full cycle. One other thing I don't like but I know won't be changed is the UI, dull grey and vibrant red/orange doesn't work at all to me, and the music isn't anything special, TSW5 and 6 had the music best to me. This game isn't worth any hype that was generated, but it's not the absolute worst thing ever.
its nice
