It's a very nice game if you're a casual player and got a crap ton of time on your hands to play and buckets of cash to throw away into the DLC's. The graphics are very nice but only during sunset, night, and the afternoon, as for weather, I really only like the lighting when it is snowing, heavy rain, and clear as the dynamic weather can really ruin the graphic quality as the game shifts how the map appears in certain weather too slowly and deteriorates the quality of objects and the area around me in general. This doesn't heavily affect time too greatly though it can be definitely noticable when it mixes with weather changes. The train lights can also be a bit funny sometimes and are sometimes too... bright. As for mechanics and the general gameplay, I found it quite simple to operate the train depending on what type it was. There are a lot of interactable switches, buttons, and exterior features to be interacted with like the elevators in stations and those cool little cannons that shoot confetti. (Is that only in the training centre?) There are a lot of features each train has that really makes them unique from eachother and I love the amount of keybinds you can tweak and adjust in settings. :P The game pays a lot of attention to how the train moves and operates in certain weather, (ex. When it rains, the train is more susceptible to wheel-spin) And at night I believe there are less passengers compared to daytime... Though I may be wrong and it depends on the station insetead. The performance is also very good, though, on lower-end PC's kind of like mine, the game tends to lag every now and then. I personally use maximum graphics anyway, though it's not neccesary to have a decent experience though there are a LOT of meshes that struggle to load smoothly at certain stations on commuter-train routes. Wouldn't recommend this game for low-end PC's. In terms of pricing... yeah no. It's very overpriced considering what you're getting but, I supposed you gotta do whatever ya gotta do to make a buck. I would only recommend this if it's on sale for very cheap. For example, the Special Edition was on sale for 70% off for a limited time. If this applies to other DLC's at some point I would consider buying it depending on the discount and general price. Of course if you own a Nasa PC or you're just wishing to dump some cash on this game for whatever reason, the DLC's contain lots of content depending on the quanitity you buy. (Gee I wish I could buy everything.) This review is coming from a person who got the Special Edition for 32$ on a 70% limited-time sale. My opinion was heavily based on performance, graphics, and mechanics. 8/10. (・∀・)

Kann ich gerne empfehlen aber nur wenn man ein Game PC hat sonst geht es nicht und am besten gleich die Ultra version aber nur wenn es im Angebot ist sonst ist es zur teuer es müssen minimal 70& Rabbat dann lohnt es sich

Been playing TSW from the outset, but on the PS5. Just made the move to PC and have to start again with buying DLC's, but steam is much cheaper then PSN so all good. Have to start my progress from scratch though with is both annoying and also good to play routes and scenarios again. Would highly recommend TSW as the best train sim I've ever played. Pro's are its Great Graphics, relaxing, immersive. Excellent put together and Dovetails partnerships with development houses is making the game and DLC's even better. Cheap on Steam, watch out for special offers and events. Cons. Can't be rushed. If you want excellent progress scores you can't speed everywhere as the signals will catch you out and you lose points for speeding.

Just like the last game. Perfection.
