Tractorball is a fantasy soccer game where you are strapped into a souped up farm tractor with an added rocket engine and a huge flipper on the front. Flip the super sized ball into the opponents goal and use funny dirty tricks to antagonize your opponent. So, this game really reminds us of Rocket League, except with tractors. It is intense and a lot of fun to play with friends. However I do have my doubts whether or not you will be able to find people online to play this game with. Without friends to play with this title might not be as fun. The game currently has four course layouts in five game worlds. It offers co-op, 2 vs 2 multiplayer as well as unlockable single player leagues and tournaments. During a match you have a rocket boost and 20 different dirty tricks power-ups to use on your opponent, which can alter the course of a match in a blink. After each match you gain experience, which you can level up. The version that we played was a bit buggy. One of the bugs that we encountered was that some dirty tricks did not work. Although we are going to assume that this is fixed in the final version. Also, if you are a bit prone to motion sickness this game will make you sick. I got nauseous while playing this game for 5 minutes, my girlfriend did not get sick at all however. She's a bit stronger than I am. The game does offer a comfort mode, which gives you a vignette on your screen when you are moving, which can help the motion sickness. Overall, we did enjoy this game. So if you like vehicular ball games you might like this title!

Awesome game! Controls work very well and with a little practice you can actually have very very precise control over the ball. everything just works and is lots of fun. i was a beta tester and was only able to play against the ai, but already have 9 hrs on the clock. can't wait to play some nice mp matches. it's a steal for 10 bucks, too!

I was able to get a beta code a few weeks back, and it is so much fun! It's a mix of Rocket League, pinball, and Mario Kart, with various random power attacks you can enable by collecting and using coins in a slot machine in the tractor. The flipper mechanic is a really smart idea and took me a few games to get used to but once you get it down, you can use it to control the shots you want to take. It's a seated game, but uses room-scale, by which I mean you use your vive controllers to grab onto the virtual joystick and levers that control the driving, inside the tractors. The small things, like appropriate vibration of the controllers while driving and the sound effects really make it feel like you're driving a machine. I did get some motion sickness after about 10min my first time around, although it was a gradual build, as opposed to some other games which trigger instant motion sickness, but even so, I wanted to get back into the game as soon as possible. I was able to play another 20-30 minutes the next day and it's one of the few games that really makes me want to develop my "VR 'legs/wheels'". It does include a black vignette option that narrows your view when turning so I should really re-enable it my next play through because the game is crazy fun, even with just bots. A fun imagining of Rocket League for VR. I played during the beta and found it a fun in cockpit vehicle soccer game. It works out surprisingly well. The paddle on the front is useful since you won't be jumping like in Rocket League.

It's like Rocket League, but in VR! I wish more people would play this game, it's still fun with computers but I think it would be even more fun with actual people, but there's never anyone playing it :(

TractorBall: a soccer match....with tractors that have flippers on their front, (and hilarious powerups around the field) The main feature of the game is FUN and the game works correctly to bring that as you will see initially how bad you can be hitting that ball only to realize that the other player is even worse than you. Another really good feature is that you will handle the tractor in VR using your controls like if it were in reality..so instead of handling with pressing the trackpad you will use your hands to GRAB the control of the tractor a move freely in the air to move it in the game. The idea is pretty much how many simulations in VR need to focus on doing it, and this game that is more oriented to a casual gameplay nailed it correctly. I have to say that developers are really good ones in a way that they have listened and improved the features that were requested gradually during testing. They even improved the mechanics in the game to be played correctly by people who is prone to sickness by adding a comfort mode (it worked with a friend of mine who gets sick easily but not on this game). If you are one of those, this game is a great tool also to train you on getting used too VR games with movement, as you are inside a tractor and this also helps to avoid sickness. The game has is strong gameplay in playing online with friends or other players as the gameplay creates really fun matches of skillful and really bad reactions. But I have to say that even playing Single Player offline is fun too as the AI works correctly in simulate an online match with humans. Most of my matches were single player ones and the gameplay was pure fun!!. They provided different locations and single player unlockables leagues and tournaments, so you could enjoy and practice also offline too. For the price the game is totally worth it and is providing I have to also recommend you to take a look to another amazing game by these crazy NINJA WHALE devs, check Mount Wingsuit in Steam... I totally loved that one and is one of the best games I bought in VR.
