About

The latest sensation to hit Gensokyo, Volleyball, but this isn't an ordinary game.
The skies are your court as you pick a team of two of your favorite Touhou characters. The pressure is on as you must not only keep the ball in play but avoid the bullets coming your way, all while countering with your own special attacks.
Panic strikes Gensokyo as everyone wakes up to find their powers missing, including our resident incident solvers, Reimu and Marisa. But when Sakuya appears before them, a great revelation is made. A strange orb has appeared in Gensokyo with the power to take away and grant abilities as it sees fit. Our heroines are on another case to challenge their friends in this new sport that has taken Gensokyo by storm.

First to reach match point or have the most points by time out is declared the winner.

I have 0 clue on what the lore of this is except that nitori lost her bag and everyone is in a volleyball tournament. do hope to see online play
In 14 hours of play, I completed 3 story campaigns(Aya, Sakuya, Ran), and I decided it was time for me to rewrite the old review. I wrote my last review when the game had just launched and was riddled with bugs. Several months have passed since then, and the game has improved significantly. The newbie developer has fixed most of the issues and bugs, but there are still some minor ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (for example, after using Ran’s desperation, normal attacks become disabled until the start of the next round — and sometimes even remain so afterwards). One of the more serious shortcomings, in my opinion as a player on a computer without a console, is the passivity of bots; sometimes opponents are passive, but the most annoying thing is the passivity of teammates (both the player's teammate and the bot). Changing the bot behavior settings didn't lead to anything; all I could do in 3 story campaigns with regard to my teammates was manually control them after the main character lost health. Anyway, I like the game, I can go in and relax from time to time, and I have never played either the original Touhou games or the fan-made ones before, and nevertheless, the game is not that difficult, but it will take some getting used to for those new to the danmaku genre. While 100 points for completing the story seems a bit much to me, there are challenges that will allow you to earn more points, and the game is quite replayable due to the variety of characters, endings, and mechanics. I would definitely recommend this game again if you want to support the author, yes, this is his first game, the quality may be better, but his dedication and care for the community speaks for itself, the author was passionate about creating a game and he did it and I fully believe that he will improve the game even more in the future. The developer is currently focused on creating an online mode, so I'll be patiently awaiting it. But I hope that after this update we'll see significant changes in bot behavior, a redesign of the main menu (it seems too minimalist and bright to me), and maybe even some characters as references or challenges, perhaps outside of the story campaign? In any case, I want to express my special thanks to the author for the good mood provided by his YouTube content and his game.

I don't play sports games at all, but since it was a gift I decided to try it. I did find it very fun and learning the mechanics was easy. I do suggest changing the inputs to control your character. Aside from that, it is really challenging, each characters have their own special attack. I can actually see myself playing this type of game for a while.
I think I've played enough to give a proper review. Gameplay-wise, this is one of the more beginner-friendly games I've played. There's a slight learning curve, but it never feels overwhelming. The controls felt a little strange at first. I kept getting confused about how movement interacts with the spacebar, and I would sometimes trigger the purple downward slam by accident when trying to interact with the ball. That might just be a skill issue on my end, though. The characters are unique and easy to recognize, and their gameplay matches their personalities and designs very well, and the overall atmosphere of the game kind of reminds me of Touhou 10.5 and 12.3 which is a huge plus as those are favorites instalment in the series. My only mixed opinion is the story mode. I didn't pay much attention to it because it felt readable but fairly generic for my taste. The gameplay is mostly from what I felt arcade mode with some new mechanics added in like the shop and the weather and mood mechanics which I rarely used or felt any drastic changes maybe I should play more as i still didn't finished the story mode yet. Overall, I'd give the game an 8/10. I really like the creator and enjoy supporting their work.
A great game with amazing art, it's nice to see a youtuber I have watched for a couple years now be able to release their own game, while I'm not the greatest at it myself, I'd love to see how it improves in the future or any new projects that may come up
