As someone who was excited after trying the demo, Torrent Empire is a fun game about managing your bit torrent site and carrying out shady missions for clients. This game can seem quite complex especially for those who don't know programming but is still simple enough to not be overwhelming. The management side of the game can become quite the handful in the best of ways. Trying to make the most out of your time by accepting ad campaigns, curating the forum posts, and ensuring the server stays up and running is addicting. The puzzles to defend against bad actors have become much more varying and intuitive since the demo and is very fun even when having to deal with multiple. The best way to get credits in the game is through the shady missions that pop up in your chat. Even though they pay well, they can be incredibly difficult without much experience. The more missions you do; however, the faster you get at navigating through company files and getting across servers. I do have a couple criticisms with the missions though.[strike] I think it would be great if the files we copy can be accessed from the main computer, for example, copying a password file so you can look at it when trying to access a backup server [/strike] This is in the game! While there isn't a command for it, there is a application window for the in game file explorer, very helpful! Another addition that would be nice was if there was less ambiguity as to if you've completed a mission, something like an immediate follow up chat message. Otherwise, I find this game to be really enjoyable and I recommend it to anyone looking for a difficult management game with a hacker theme!
The game may be feature complete but it is still rough on the edge. I admire this solo developer for how they update the game with the comunity feedback. This game is a passion project and the journey only begin.
Algoritma sınavını bu oyun sayesinde geçmeyi planlıyorum.
oyuna niye minigame ekliyonuz onun yerine karşı saldırı yapmak daha mantıklı olabilir kafam yetmedi
Ben orada şirketi hacklemeye çalışıyorum kedi rahat durmuyor
neat and fun, i got busted cause i didnt pay attention, but i would recommend this few gripes - port scan attack can be impossible as it can sometimees time out before enough attacks even appear - uploads fail because theres not enough space but only after waiting the upload time - some terminal commands in missions are a bit finnicky, like you cant just `cd` to the top or ls a directory youre not in` - would be great if you could keep a file pinned instead of having to remember it in mission (unless you can?) worth the price imo
Really enjoying so far, of course the game has buggy features and some frustrating mechanics but i think it will be solved in the future. Dev is active on discord and communicate/get feedback in there. Give it a try.
