Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.14/day in the week to Sep 10 → 1.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
Tormentum II is a dark, surreal point-and-click adventure with elements of psychological horror. Explore a hand-drawn world, solve puzzles, and make morally ambiguous choices that shape the fates of the characters you meet. It tells a new, standalone story, so no knowledge of the original game is required.

You play as David, who is building a simulation populated by beings capable of human-level thought. Every night, he dreams of a locked chest and hears a woman's voice calling to him. When an anonymous seller offers him a mysterious coprocessor, parts of the dream begin to surface while he is awake.
David installs the new hardware. He wakes in a prison on an island surrounded by open sea. Somehow, he is inside his own simulation.

David remembers little about how he arrived. He soon discovers that his creation contains layers he never designed and has a will he cannot control.
The inhabitants speak of gods, beings that come from distant places and disappear just as suddenly.
To find a way home, David must cross the islands, explore the unfamiliar layers of his creation, and discover why it no longer obeys him. Explore each location at your own pace. Conversations and puzzles gradually reveal more about the simulation.
Your choices shape the fates of the characters David meets. There is rarely an obvious right answer, and your decisions lead to multiple endings.
Point-and-click exploration and puzzles across multiple surreal islands.
Choices with consequences that shape the fates of the characters you meet and lead to multiple endings.
200 hand-drawn scenes. Dedicated close-ups bring the total to nearly 500 individual background images, roughly three times as many as in the original game.
Surreal art inspired by H. R. Giger's biomechanical forms and the desolate worlds painted by Zdzisław Beksiński.
6 to 9 hours of gameplay, depending on your pace.
A dark, atmospheric soundtrack with occasional heavier passages influenced by metal.
A complete, standalone story. No knowledge of the original game is required.

We spent almost eight years making Tormentum II. The core development team consists of two people: Piotr Ruszkowski and Łukasz Rutkowski, both of whom helped create the original Tormentum: Dark Sorrow.

Puzzle çözerek diyarın sırlarına ulaşıyorsunuz. Korku unsurları yetersiz kalsa da keyifli bir oyun.
Really enjoying it so far! I haven't played a point-and-click adventure like this in a long time, and I'm still very much at the beginning of the game. So far, though, I'm really enjoying the experience. One of the first things that caught my attention is the art direction. The visuals are dark, disturbing, and beautifully atmospheric. I'm not particularly a fan of Zdzisław Beksiński's work, but I can definitely appreciate the inspiration here, and this darker, more unsettling aesthetic really fits my personal taste. The atmosphere is probably my favorite part so far. There's something very immersive about exploring this strange and gloomy world and discovering what it has to offer. I also think this kind of game will be a nice change of pace and a relaxing experience after spending time with more intense multiplayer games. I'm only at the beginning, so I can't say much about the story or puzzles yet, but so far, Tormentum II has definitely caught my attention. Looking forward to seeing where it goes!

Actually insanely beautiful. The first tormentum had me in absolute awe when i first played it, and I was soso excited for this to come out as well. I was worried that it never would, since it had already been so long, but I was overjoyed when I saw the release date. This game is ABSOLUTELY worth the wait. The art of both games is absolutely stunning, and this game being longer lets you look at even more of it. It's so grim yet fills me with emotion. It's inspired my own artwork as well, and I truly appreciate that I came across something like this. The gameplay itself is also amazing, though I was a bit lost at some points, gameplay and story wise. I'm not the best at processing stuff so that's most likely why. I was hoping it would touch a bit on the first game, so I was shocked to see the castle at the end, though I would love to know more about it (tormentum 3 anyone?). Genuine thank you to the creators of this game, I know it's sappy but these games have changed my life for the better. 100000% recommend.
gameplay – B+ story – B+ sound – B+ design – B+ detail – A- ui – A- enjoyment – B+ === overall – B+ === note: Inside the dreams of the machine.
What a game! I dont know what kind of Shrooms they took to make it but i defently wanna try them aswell.
Better visuals then the first one and a more in depth story to grasp right from the start. Intro was a bit slower then the first game, main character really likes to talk, felt annoying at times so might have missed a bit of dialog cause I expected him to be finished. Using items is a little more cumbersome then in the first game, missclicking an item means you have to pick it again in the inventory, and duplicate objects has to be put in the correct box. Veeeery minor gripes considering there are quick buttons for opening inventory and journal, the overall experience is much better. Not finished the game yet, but if played the first and liked it, just instabuy it.
Never played Tormentum 1, only a little bit into this game. I probably don't need to say anything about the aesthetic, if you have been drawn here at all you're likely already into that. 3 hours in, the story and characters are all doing it for me. There are major choices to make but you're always given a chance before you have to lock in on them. No puzzle has seemed absolutely insane in the vein of old school adventure games. I'm already happy with the purchase just from how far I've played, this may be one of the greatest point and click adventure games in recent years. It's very lightweight and will probably run on anything as well. A mobile version would probably be a good idea.
