It was pretty good. I'm a fan of the visuals even if the intensity of the bright colors hurt my eyes a bit. The platforming is solid and the S ranks are tough. I tried going for those, but I gave up on the Sea Mama's Harbor level. It is a very cute game and even though it had a horror tag on its steam page, the horror stuff did catch me by surprise a little bit. I think it's still a little too short to really be considered horror though; it was more like how some older video games have those kind of off-putting "game over" screens or dramatic music that really gets to you. Even if it's short, a low price like this can't really be beat. I think it would be a great budget gift to somebody on their birthday or a holiday. Maybe also get them a rad set of shades because of how bright everything is. Y'know, that might actually be why the bird wears the shades... I didn't think about that until writing this.
This is what you expect for a dollar (50 cents on sale), really just a collection of levels that could be thrown together in a week minus polish. But sometimes you need something basic that isn't just AAA slop, and this is very much a well crafted experience and highly repayable experience, albeit purposefully barebones. Anyways its 25-40 minutes so for more frugal users whether its worth it might come down to whether you replay games, I obviously do so it was for me.
Perfect
From a clip I watched years ago, I actually thought Toree 3D was some sort of creepypasta game posing as a platformer... but nope! It's just a really good although short 3D platforming experience, where a couple of levels show a few semi-creepy moments. Here you will find pretty tight controls, fun linear level design that is never overtly difficult, and a nice PS1-esque aesthetic where you get to control a cute lil jumping bird with sunglasses. And a cool OST to boot! Since you can go back to all the stages to try to get the highest ranks you can, it would've been nice to get achievements for getting those high ranks, but oh well. If you enjoy platformers, I would recommend you just get the full Toree Bundle, whenever it is on sale: https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/62334/Toree_Trilogy_Bundle/
To z pewnością warte swojej ceny: 4 złote.
