Top Villain: Total Domination

My favorite part of playing Choice of Games games is being amused at how bad they usually are. I've gone from buying these titles looking for a good one, to buying these titles hoping its even more atrocious than the last. Unfortunately, Top Villain isn't that bad because the story and concepts seem stol... let's say... heavily influenced... by themes already explored thoroughly by the Venture Bros series. Honestly, the whole thing has a very Adult Swim vibe, with Robot Chicken levels of Gen X humor. So, if that's something you'd be interested in, give it a try. That really wasn't enough for me to give it a thumbs up, but I am doing so anyway because I got a true laugh out of the hideously solipsistic romance option. Choice of Games titles could benefit by permitting more of these dark, unhealthy pathways handled with a kind of "let the player burn it all down" acceptance.

The format and tone of the story are too childish. The game may appeal to a younger audience or an older audience who are imbued with the atmosphere of the cartoon Megamind and the Evil Genius series of games, and are not against the simple humor of children's cartoons, but for an audience focused on a more adult plot, this game will be a serious disappointment.

Very fun game where the univserse serve the story (the world is a light one so you can have fun without having to think about too much about the details). It made me smile a lot and give me the same vibes as Megamind and Despicable Me for the jokes

This is a funny little title; most of the choices are built around getting you a chuckle. I had a really good time playing it & laughed plenty. There's also some surprisingly deep stuff towards the end as well. All in all it's well written & really made for a good time.

История является по сути фарсом, но фарсом очень забавным. Автор постебался не только над всеми клише супергероики, но и массовой культуры в целом. Я бы даже сказала, что автор перестарался - количество отсылок и шутеек перекрывает едва пробивающиеся ростки сюжета. Эту историю категорически нельзя воспринимать серьезно, даже на десять процентов, даже на пол шишечки, иначе у вас взорвется мозг. Просто угорайте.

Awesome - I have never laughed so much lol.

Поначалу не особо ориентируешься насколько серьёзно следует воспринимать происходящее, но когда забиваешь на всё и воспринимаешь абсурд вокруг как данность, то расслабляешься и получаешь удовольствие от окружающей нелепости, проникаешься ей и становишься её частью. Это пародийная супергероика. Не задумывайтесь о происходящем, просто веселитесь, докидывая в эту историю ещё больше клише, каламбуров и прочих забавных глупостей.

Huh, finished this one in 4 hours. Then again its less then 200,000 words so i should have expected that. So, Top Villain: Total Domination. Its got alot of References, Humor and EVIL!!!!! Not exactly the most EPIC of EPIC tales iv read, but it is worth a few reads to see where your choices lead. I suspect i got the "Live long enough to become the hero" Ending. So lets see where YOUR choices lead you. How will you handle your Henchmen going on strike? How will you deal with your most Adoring Fan? How will you deal with Heros and your ARCH NEMISUS?! And most importantly, What kind of Villein will YOU BE BaHAHAHAHAHA!

It was a fun run.
