Toe To Toe Party Games is an Early Access VR game that has single and multiplayer matches. It worked on my HTC Vive and Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. You can play against Bot with the pistol duel. Currently, has 4 games of a Wild West theme: Pistol Duel, Five Finger Fillet, Horseshoes, and Repeater rifle shoot. And there are 4 games with a Wizard theme. There is no VR movement mode, just roomscale and better to play while standing. While solo, I had some fun and laughs playing the Fillet, took some work to get good at dueling, and the horseshoes physics seemed ok. The multiplayer mode has 3 server regions: US, EU, Asia. Nobody is playing or hosting matches, but it does suggest quickly, you should check the devs discord, maybe can play against a dev or find someone on discord. You can host a match with one of three games and has optional password protection. Has a quick join to search for hosted matches. Has Bots that take over if there is nobody live to match to. CONS: - There is nobody buying and playing this game. Maybe buy this game on sale. I got a free key for this from the Steam Curator program. I found nobody online in my USA server region during prime time hours on release date. I think that's enough waiting to say that the multiplayer portion of this game is DOA. However, this game does also have single player. That is what I played. The mini-game collection is currently just 3 mini-games. They are western themed, with a low polygon art style that is reminiscent of the Humble Bundle collection. The three mini games are a 1 v 1 gun duel against an AI, five finger fillet (solo) and horseshoes (solo). There is a local leaderboard available. The gun duel is always against the same opponent. There is no variety. The five finger fillet is fun like the first 2 or 3 times you play it. Then it just becomes repetitive, unless you just really love chasing your own leaderboard score. At least this game lets you adjust the table height (one of the few settings available). Lastly, you can play a variation of horseshoes where targets appear and disappear on a make. There's a golden and magnetic target just to add a minimal amount of variety. The throwing physics is okay. If you guessed this game must be running on the Unity Engine, you got it correct! You get a gold star! I was getting mostly 90 frames per second on my RTX 3080, with only a few frame rate drops. I did not experience any serious issues or bugs. There is no locomotion or turning involved for any of the mini-games. All the action happens in front of you. I do recommend playing standing as some of the motions are just easier standing. Overall, I would say this is at best a very mediocre collection of mini-games with nothing that stands out about it. The visuals & sounds are substandard. The UI is basic. I don't know why anyone would pay money for this instead of just playing Rec Room for free or the many other mini-game collections on Steam that are better and older (like Loco Dojo) . The fact that multiplayer seems dead on release date is not a good sign for the viability of the future development of this game. T2T currently features three minigames: Quick draw, five finger fillet, and horseshoes. Quick draw is a dueling game where the player(s) attempt to draw a pistol and hit the other player with a single shot as quickly as possible. Five finger fillet is a game where the players try to stab a knife between fingers in a specific pattern as fast as possible. Horseshoes is similar to classic horseshoes; however, it is more of a fantasy horseshoes where targets appear and disappear and the horseshoes are different sizes and colors. There are online options for playing head-to-head over the Internet with servers in the US, Asia, and Europe. T2T for this review was played with an HTC Vive Pro running off of an Nvidia 3080 RTX GPU and standard Vive Pro controllers/trackers. At present, there are no options for T2T, other than selecting single-player or multi-player. The music is rather loud and it would be nice to be able to adjust that independent of the sound effects. The graphics are similar to many low budget VR games with cartoonish characters and flat looking geometry. The sounds and music are fairly well done, albeit Spartan. Of the three minigames, the fantasy horseshoes plays the best, and will give a pretty good arm workout in a short period of time. There is a fluid feel to tossing the horseshoes that is satisfying. It becomes a frantic race against the timer to accumulate as many points as possible as fast as possible. The throws are not far, but a decent amount of finesse is needed to hit the targets. The five-finger fillet minigame looks the best, but isn't much fun to play. Grabbing the knife the first time flipped it upside down, which can be fixed by flipping the controller in the hand 180 degrees. Trying to whack the point between the fingers doesn't feel natural and judging the depth is difficult. The quick draw minigame doesn't look great, the target is a western looking cowboy with no legs or arms. However, it is fun to see how fast the gun can be drawn and accurately fired. It isn't all that realistic, considering the controller has to be death-gripped and then trigger fired when it weighs about 10% of a real weapon. It's a twitchy affair prone to accidental grip slips and very unsteady aiming due to the death-grip required. Extra points are given for headshot vs body shots. The player only gets one shot with one of the two guns. Toe To Toe is a fun little VR game, and as billed, would be a fun party game, particularly if everyone was a little tipsy. There isn't a lot of depth, but there are apparently plans to add a second set of minigames. That's good, because it's not a game that most players would spend a lot of time in or come back to.It could use a western style shooting gallery to make more use of those pistols, with ducking and hiding behind barrels or wagons, like any western movie. That said, Toe To Toe did not exhibit any glitches or outright bugs and all of the controls responded well. [b]As it stand Toe To Toe is worth a play, particularly if featured at a party and is recommended on that basis.[/b]

Game is good, runs really well, still developing a bigger player-base and this time but with more games it could be one of my favorite vr games.

Great game IMO, always wanted a western type VR game, especially with quick draw. This game fills my needs lol.

So far I'm in love with the western styled games. It's a shame that the player base is so small and I can't really play multiplayer, but I really hope that is going to improve with time. I see great potential in this game. I think I've mastered all of the current mini-games, but developers say there is already another in the works. Can't wait to beat all of you in them. I might be the best player currently in the world, send me a pm if you want to challenge me, hah!

Overall this is a fun game collection. My favourite is the Horseshoes game, it is really challenging and very tiring. I hope the developers will add new games soon, and somehow solve to be able to play with others in multiplayers. Right now I was only able to play multiplayer with a friend, but no one else. Probably there is not enough players yet.

I read the previous comments and I can't really agree with everything. I bought the game. I think the five-finger fillet is fun, the duel takes more practice, and I think the way as the horseshoe skill game works is realistic. I couldn't try the multiplayer game either, but considering it's an early access game, I had no high expectations about this game mode. I enjoy the single-player games as long as the multiplayer develops, and I think it's worth it.

Nice minigames. Quick Draw is my favorite, gives me the western hero feeling. I would like to play against someone else but I couldn't, maybe there are not enough players.
