Jump n Run like (360) Controller Unterstützung ist vorhanden....
Don't think it suits these years' main stream taste though...

Una cagata pazzesca... Roba da anni '80 :(
https://youtu.be/-X8daRb_GRM Hard locking to the grid for movement and positioning stiffens the controls to a point that generates friction.
Short and sweet, reasonably priced for its length considering the two characters offer different playthroughs. This game does not handle like a lot of other platformers - you won't have as much freedom in the air as you may be used to, and the controls feel restrictive, but it's done with a purpose, as you must figure out how to navigate the environment efficiently without hurting yourself (there is fall damage too). Each character has their own pros and cons, making a subsequent run-through feel different even though the levels are the same. There is some jank and some occasional glitches, but nothing that really ruins the game. Cute game, fair for the price.
Tags: Platformer Additional Tags: Delete Local Content & Remove from Library TLDR: Xbox360 pad not working out of box. Terrible news for a platformer. Audiovisually bland. Vertical Drop Heroes HD has better execution. Washed out bland assets, repetitive music on loop. Control scheme is insanity: WASD JKL. Walljumping and other parkour is incredibly clunky. Tileset has a weird white filter on top of everything making it look washed out and bland. Music loops too much, shame too because, just like the art direction, it could have been going places. There are detailed animations for vinegrabbing, sliding around, picking up momentum... its not prince of persia levels but still solid. But those few good points feel more of an exception than a rule. Because of the clunky controls I did not check for custom resolutions.
I really like the idea, especially the co-op aspect of this game, but the controls absolutely need to be worked on. You can assign a controller to both players, however the button layout and the fact that the game doesn't really recognize and thus adapt to your choice of using a controller rather than a keyboard (because they suck for platformers!) is a rather huge oversight in my opinion.
For some strange reason resolution settings aren't saving at all, so if you feel like playing in window mode or in higher resolution you will need to change that every time you run the game. Anyway, Tobe's Vertical Adventure is quite interesting platformer. I love the style, it's really amazing and every each of islands bring something new and dangerous to gameplay. It feels somehow retro and it's not retro-wannabe like in 90% of indie games. Sadly, this game is kinda short, but there are 2 characters to play as, co-op mode and kinda hard achievements - the first one you unlock upon finishing the game. But hey, this game is only $1.00! With price this low, I must say it's a must have for anyone who loves platformer games.
