This is a great game, well thought out playstyles and weapons and maps with cool buildup to the bosses, I am throughly enjoying my progression and exploration of this game. The community have been nothing but nice when there have been spaces for them to jump into a game I am playing. My only wish for this gem of a game is that one day it enables a larger group than 4 to go into a game together. I love all of the little hidden secrets which r in the most unexpected places. This feels like a personal well loved project rather than a huge commercial moneyspinner. 😊
Game is a ton of fun, the movement systems are amazing, the titan battles are great, I just made it to the final level and have not even tried multiplayer yet, game is well worth a buy.
One of the best experiences I've had in VR. I don't usually write reviews, but man this game deserves your attention. The mechanics feel so good and it rewards you for getting good at it. It's easy to pick up, but so rewarding when you master it. I enjoy playing the Storm the most. Fuel management while shooting and dodging in the air is insanely fun. Basically anything gameplay related is great. Now what I didn't like...The eyes... The eyes on all the humanoid characters are so wonky and out of place... It would've looked way better if the helmets didnt show the pupils. Some parts (and especially the hub) look SUPER empty, this is unrelated to the gameplay but it just wouldn't hurt the game if there were more...idk anything to fill in the dead space. I also think the random boxes that you find in the world could have had more than just the currency you use in the shop, maybe a healing item. or a rare skin. Anything to make me go the extra step to look for it. I really respect this team for actually trying to create something unique in VR rather than chasing trends. Their focus on the gameplay is the way to go. despite the small problems I have I will still play this game and come back to it from time to time. Please keep making more amazing bangers
Start with Windlands 2 then get this other VR gem once you're really good at WL2. Any questions? Skip the original Windlands though. EDIT Summer 2026: Been working with the creator, Jon Hibbins, to make that game even better now, there is a 5th suit coming in game soon. This game is a pure VR GEM for those with solid VR legs
Be Spider Man and Iron Man and Flash in a vast and beautiful world in one game. This is VR!
Absolutely epic!
(Played on Quest 3 native + PC VR) Titan Isles nails everything that makes VR gaming awesome – nonstop movement, adrenaline, and pure team energy. You can feel the love and attention to detail the moment you jump in. The four Exo-Suits all play completely differently - from a fast jetpack scout to a heavy tank-style bruiser - and each one feels fantastic in motion. The boss fights are massive, cinematic, and seriously challenging. Every Titan has its own attack patterns that keep you on your toes, and the four difficulty levels (Easy, Normal, Heroic, Legendary) really let you choose your pain level. Legendary mode? Buckle up — it’s wild! Playing co-op with friends is where the game truly shines. The team dynamics are insane — calling out weak spots, covering each other, and syncing attacks feels amazing. It’s chaotic, tactical, and ridiculously fun all at once. And between the big boss runs, there are tons of fun mini-games like time trials, target challenges, and even little scavenger hunts 😄 - perfect for blowing off steam between fights. Technically, it’s rock-solid: buttery-smooth performance, punchy sound, and gorgeous visuals that make the islands feel alive. If you love VR and want huge battles, great co-op action, and plenty of variety - you need to play Titan Isles. Verdict: A hidden gem that delivers everything VR fans and Coop-Lovers crave - intense, fun, and totally addictive!
Note: Game key provided by Psytec Games 10 out of 10 recommend, particularly for sci-fi fans. The story is dispensed in bite sized chunks from your wisecracking droid during missions and massive 2-3 minute exposition dumps from several NPCs in between missions. If you're someone just looking to get into the action, you can quit easily skip over them. Between all the collectibles in missions, different routes to take for each mission, and four different exosuits (all with their own upgrade trees), the game oozes replay value. DOWNSIDES: Even with adjusting the settings, you glide when you land quite often (even with that setting turn all the way up to stop the gliding), leading to death by falling off edges more often than the enemies. Enemy variety is... okay. It's not super diverse, but the bosses are different enough (even if the method to kill them is generally the same). And the exposition dumps are... what you would expect from a sci-fi game. If you care about story, pay attention from the very beginning or you'll be lost with all the world lingo a few missions in. The gameplay generally is excellent though, with multiple playstyles to suit any player. I recommend training with each suit to determine which one is your vibe and going with it. Not quite done with the game as I am playing with a friend and am beholden to their schedule. From what I have played (7 missions thus far), I'm having an absolute blast. Psytec's best game yet and one of my favorite new VR games in 2025 (Ghost Town & Arken Age are the others).
Titan Isles undoubtedly stands as the most ambitious game ever developed by Pystec, and they have truly excelled with this title. The game provides immense replay value thanks to the thoughtful choices made to keep the experience feeling new and exciting. Each Exo Suit offers a unique gameplay experience, featuring distinct traversal methods and weaponry that create a delightful mix, making it enjoyable to experiment with each one before choosing your favourite. Furthermore, the game includes various mission routes composed of procedurally generated tiles, ensuring that players will continue to uncover new tiles even after many hours of gameplay. To top it all off, players will engage in epic battles against massive Titans, each possessing their own unique attacks and strategies for defeat, resulting in a fantastic blend of gameplay elements. As you navigate through Toska, every route showcases stunning vistas that are not only enjoyable to traverse but also worth pausing to admire, all enhanced by exceptional audio and a remarkable soundtrack. The team at Psytec has undoubtedly crafted a masterpiece with Titan Isles, which looks impressive on both PC VR and the Meta Quest. Full Review: https://thevrrealm.com/reviews/titan-isles
Titan Isles is one of the most immersive games I've played in over a decade in the VR space. I love that you can play the game essentially with four different styles of gameplay and that the developers continue to add and expand to the game with themed events and additional content.
