Titan Attacks!

Broken fullscreen, requires a 6 year old developer post that doesn't even fix it anymore. maybe remove the option if it breaks your game to fullscreen and F11 cant even unfullscreen (even though the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ bloatware on windows can) . or maybe FIX YOUR GAME!!! nothing else breaks on fullscreen like this.

Most of this game is great. Mechanics, presentation, etc., all great. I have only one complaint, but it's a big one: starting around level 40 (out of 100), the game keeps getting easier. Your ship's power increases at a much faster rate than the enemies', causing the difficulty, skill required, and fun all to decrease. In the beginning you have to finesse your movement and time your shots carefully, but the game devolves into just blindly mashing Fire. Boring, irritating, and at my age physically painful. It's sad to see so much wasted potential. Still. The first 40 levels are SO good that it's still worth buying and playing.

Easily one of the best Space Invaders style games out there. Very fast and fun gameplay with satisfying ship upgrades and amazing visuals and sound effects.

It's literally Space Invanders with extra bits and updated skins. Basically you pay for what you get in a re-skinned classic.

Still an excellent game which is no mean feat for being more than 12 years old now. While it initially feels like a pure copy of Space Invaders, it distinguishes itself as anything but. Its visual design, sound effects and music are top-notch. It's pure arcadey fun from start to end. Unfortunately, it's hamstrung by largely technical issues, like being unable to support modern resolutions and modern controllers. Here's hoping it is able to be updated in the future. Playing it with a mouse is, well, carpal tunnel-inducing.

Titan Attacks! succeeds precisely because it doesn't innovate—it repackages familiar dopamine triggers with just enough modern features to seem fresh. The "Very Positive" reviews reveal not quality but effectiveness at manipulating nostalgia circuits. You'll enjoy it while simultaneously resenting the time it extracts from you, trapped in a loop of diminishing returns disguised as progression.

A cute and addictive remake of the classic

A Galaga-inspired fixed shooter, Titan Attacks is good arcadey fun accompanied by good music and decent replayability.
