This is the second and final chapter in the Timestamps series, and full honesty right up front, I did not play chapter one. Even so, I managed to get pulled into this sequel way more than I expected. It feels like one of those games that grabs you by the collar and says “trust me bro”, and most of the time, it earns that confidence. [h1]About This Game [/h1] [h2]Storyline[/h2] The story is where Lost Love really flexes. You are bouncing around broken timelines, trying to figure out how badly things have gone off the rails and how to fix them. Someone close to you is missing, strange stuff is happening in town, and nothing is as simple as it looks. There are lots of jumps to the past to patch up the present, and while it can feel confusing at first, sticking with it makes things click. Compared to what I know about Unconditional Love, this sequel feels tighter and more confident. The comedy lands better, the pop culture references are fun without being annoying and the character development is surprisingly strong. Nika deserves a special mention. I really did not expect to end up liking her as much as I did, especially after hearing how annoying she was in the first game. Younger Nika and MILF Nika genuinely feel like different sides of the same character, and that growth really works. That said, the ending is…rough. After hours of building relationships and making choices, it kind of yanks the rug out from under you. It feels like being stuck in limbo, almost like the game is more interested in setting things up than giving proper closure. I was satisfied for about 98% of the journey, then the final stretch just did not sit right with me. [h2]Gameplay Mechanics[/h2] Gameplay sticks closely to classic visual novel design. You make choices, follow branching paths, unlock scenes and slowly piece together what is really going on. There is around 15 plus hours of content here, and it shows. Decisions actually feel meaningful most of the time, especially when it comes to relationships and uncovering secrets in Cougar Valley. Steam achievements are included and pretty reasonable. You can grab most of them just by playing naturally and experimenting with different choices. The gallery system is useful for tracking progress, though having to load a save to access it instead of using the main menu is a bit annoying. Still, for the vast majority of the experience, this game delivers. If you enjoy adult visual novels with real story ambition, sci-fi twists and polished presentation, this one is worth your time. Если первая часть «Unconditional Love» была разминкой, то здесь разработчики решили вывернуть мозг наизнанку окончательно. Вы снова оказываетесь в Кугар Вэлли — городке, где, судя по всему, даже бабушки на лавочках обсуждают не погоду, а временные аномалии и свои БДСМ-предпочтения. Сюжет закручен так, что Эйнштейн аплодировал бы стоя: ваш лучший друг нашел способ менять время, вы отправляетесь в прошлое, чтобы исправить ошибки, а потом выясняется, что кто-то из близких пропал, в городе творятся безумные вещи, а за кулисами орудуют какие-то таинственные мужики. Рендеры четкие, детализированные, с проработкой текстур кожи, пота, пирсинга, татуировок и даже разных стилей лобковых волос (да, это та мелочь, которая показывает уровень заботы разработчиков). Персонажи выглядят живыми, особенно удалась Ника — её младшая и MILF-версии действительно воспринимаются как разные стороны одного персонажа, что говорит о серьезной работе над дизайном. Анимации стали плавнее и встречаются не только в откровенных сценах, но и в обычных диалогах и кат-сценах. Игра не статична, она дышит. Музыка и звуковые эффекты подобраны под настроение, хотя некоторые звуки кажутся слишком тихими — приходится вслушиваться, как будто ловишь радиоволну из параллельной реальности. Путешествия во времени, сломанные временные линии, пропавшие люди, таинственные мужчины за кулисами — всё это закручено так лихо, что первые пару часов вы будете чувствовать себя героем «Очень странных дел», который случайно попал в порнофильм. Но если не бросать и вникнуть — всё складывается в стройную картину. Персонажи проработаны отлично. Даже те, кто в первой части бесили, здесь раскрываются и заставляют симпатизировать себе. Ника — ходячее доказательство того, что хороший сценарист может из любого гадкого утенка сделать лебедя. Комедийные моменты и поп-культурные отсылки разбавляют мрачную атмосферу и не дают окончательно уйти в депрессию. Но есть ложка дегтя. Концовка... Она выбивает из колеи. После 15 часов эмоциональных вложений, переживаний и выбора вам дают понять, что всё было зря, или просто оставляют в подвешенном состоянии. holy ♥♥♥♥♥, the writing is terrible. even worse than the first one. after 1 hour I will continue to to play, in the vain hope that it might get better, but this first hour has been spent extra a big bunch of repeated information and absurdly stupid inner & outer monologues. the repeated hammering home of the same obvious plotlines that anyone over the age of 10 has seen in countless movies and/for written media before, just makes this almost unplayable. do.not.waste.your.money. it might be worth it at 5€ or less, EDIT: after several hours more; holy hell, I did not think it could get worse. mistranslations, an apparent deleted scene that you have to figure out happened and even more random crap that breaks the flow of the story. the screen shifting to white for 2 seconds with no option to skip it, to show some random lewd picture and then another 2 seconds of white, then back to the actual game. horrible editing, horrible writing

Such a great game that by the end of it, I felt completely drained. As good as it is though, it’s not without flaws. VNgine sucks compared to Ren’Py; every time an animation loads, the game hangs for 5–8 seconds. There’s a family patch available, which is absolutely essential, but it needs some tweaking before it works properly. And then there’s the screenshot posting limit that's capped at just 20. Twenty!? For a screenshot junkie like me, that’s brutal.

AVN 계의 '아내의 유혹'이라고 해야 되나.. 아니 솔직히 막장성은 그거보다도 더 합니다. 챕터 1 Uncontional Love에서 이어지는 챕터 2 Lost Love입니다. 이미지 렌더가 8,500개 이상으로, 전작의 두 배 넘게 늘어났고, 애니메이션은 320개 이상이라고 합니다. 실제로 체감하기에도 전작보다 두 배 이상으로 느껴졌습니다. 하다가 지루해질 정도로 플레이 타임이 늘어나는데 렌더링 돌려쓰는 것도 많지만, 무엇보다도 텍스트가 정말 깁니다. 쓰잘데기 없는 말들이 참 많아요.... 그리고 주제가 타임머신을 타고 계속 과거로 이동하는 만큼, 한번 진행했던 과거를 다시 한번 진행해서 봤던 거 또 보기도 합니다. 물론 약간씩 상황은 달라지긴 하지만요. 개인적으로는 재미가 있으면서도 지루하고 짜증 나는 게임이었습니다. 그 이유를 정리해서 설명하겠습니다. [h3]<첫 번째>[/h3] 챕터 1은 프롤로그 느낌이 강했고, 실제 스토리만 보더라도 사실상 프롤로그였습니다. 그리고 챕터 2부터는 본격적인 스토리가 진행되는데 상당히 흥미로웠습니다. 타임머신을 타고 과거로 가서 과거의 부모님이나 지인들을 보는 건 그 자체로 흥미를 보장하는 주제니까요. 하지만 단지 주제만 흥미로울 뿐, 스토리를 풀어가는 개연성은 개막장입니다. 주인공의 이런 시간 역행은 수많은 타임라인을 창조하고 없애게 되었죠. 주인공의 행동 하나하나에 현재가 영향을 받으면서 말입니다. 근데 그걸 풀어나가는 스토리텔링 능력은 절망적입니다. 이것저것 떡밥은 많이 던져놓았지만 제대로 회수를 하지도 않고, 뭔가 그냥 급하게 끝낸 느낌이라 그래서 게임 자체의 평가가 초반, 중반, 후반이 많이 달라졌습니다. 중반부까지만 해도 재밌어서 '야.. 이건 A급이다' 싶었다가 후반에 접어들면서 짜증이 나고 불쾌한 게임이 되었죠. 예를 들어 하나는 바로 Helen이라는 존재입니다. 이 존재에 대해서 밝히면 스포일러니까 말을 하지는 않겠지만 어쨌건 이 존재가 매우 중요하다고 하고, 그 자체로 큰 반전이기도 한데... 반전보다 더 심각한 문제는 정작 저는 얘가 누구였는지 전혀 모르겠다는 점입니다. 이 Helen이라는 존재를 챕터 1에서부터 언급을 했었는데 제가 놓친 건지는 모르겠지만 저는 주인공이 '설마 Helen??' ㅇㅈㄹ 할 때도 걔가 누군데? 싶었습니다. 주인공 새끼한테만 대단한 반전인 거예요. 그동안 언급이 한 번도 없어서 플레이어는 걔가 누군지도 모르는데. 그리고 또 다른 예를 들면 타임라인을 보호하려면 과거로 가서 엄마의 친구 Candice를 죽지 않게 지켜야 한다고 합니다. 근데 도대체 얘를 왜 지켜야 되는지, 무엇으로부터 지켜야 되는지 설명이 없습니다. 그리고 더 황당한 건 지켜야 된다고 말을 한 사람이 Candice를 자동차로 들이박아 죽이려고 하고, 만약 거기서 주인공이 실패하면 다시 시간을 되돌리고, 성공적으로 구하면 백미러를 통해 '잘했어..' ㅇㅈㄹ 하면서 갑니다. 아니 ㅅㅂ 뭔가 중요한 역할을 하거나 특이점이 되기 때문에 지키라는 걸 텐데 게임 끝날 때까지 그 이유가 안 나옵니다. 주인공한테 지키라고 해놓고서 자기가 죽이려고 한 이유도 안 나와요. 주인공이 뭘 물어볼 때마다 '이해해 줘.. 지금은 말해줄 수 없어. 다음에 설명해 줄게' 이러고 말이죠. 씨발놈이 그리고 엔딩 때까지도 그거 설명 안 해줬어요. 또한 여동생 Veronika를 과거로 보내버린, 절친 Bacon의 모습을 한 평행세계의 또 다른 Bacon이 도대체 왜 그런 행동을 했는지 의도조차 밝혀지지도 않습니다. 즉 게임의 결과만 보면 해피 엔딩이기는 한데, 이것저것 떡밥은 존나게 뿌렸으면서 회수도 못할 맥거핀만 남겨놓고 끝났습니다. 그 외에도 시도때도없이 과거를 가는데 문제는 가는 시점이 다 다르기 때문에 지금 내 앞에 나타나는 이 캐릭터가 현재인지, 아니면 과거인지, 그보다 몇달 미래인지, 더 과거인지, 아니면 머니먼 미래에서 왔는지.. 타임라인 때문에 복잡합니다. 주인공과 시간여행 관계자들은 겟타 엠페러처럼 그 자체로 특이점이 될 수 있게 해주는 비콘을 소지해서 타임라인의 영향을 받지 않는다고 하는데, 정작 현재에서 나를 과거로 보낸놈이 어디서 만나자 라고 약속을 하고 보냈으면서, 막상 과거에 도착 후 약속장소에서 만났더니 그놈은 나를 과거로 보냈을때 시점의 사람이 아닙니다. 즉, 내용이 설정 붕괴가 많고, 시간 여행이라는 복잡한 설정을 스토리 작가 스스로가 쫓아가지 못하는 수준이에요. [h3]<두 번째>[/h3] 챕터 2의 장점은 야스 씬이 참 많습니다. 챕터 1에서는 야스 씬이 많지 않았죠. 대상도 한정적이었고요. 하지만 2에서는 진짜 시도 때도 없이 박아댑니다. 지겨울 정도로 말이죠. 야겜의 본질은 충족시켰습니다. 그런데 그게 단점이기도 합니다. 스토리 좀 진행하면 안 되나? 싶을 정도로 자꾸 옆길로 샙니다. 전혀 필요하거나 중요한 장면이 아닌데도 자꾸 나오니까 나중엔 지겨웠습니다. 특히, 이 점 때문에 주인공 새끼가 정말 마음에 안 들었습니다. 이 게임을 하며 가장 짜증이 났던 이유가 바로 이 주인공이었죠. 가위로 주인공의 ㅈ을 잘라버리고 싶다는 생각이 가득했습니다. 시간 이동을 할 때마다 생기는 부작용으로 인해 주인공은 성욕을 배출해야지만 고통이 해소됩니다. 문제는 주인공이 사는 마을은 작은 마을이고, 그 마을 사람들은 거의 대대로 쭉 살아왔기 때문에 주인공이 과거로 돌아가도 대부분 아는 사람들이라 성욕 배출의 대상들도 다 가까운 사람들이라는 거죠. 더욱이 주인공은 좆이 뇌를 지배한다 싶을 정도로 성욕을 주체 못 합니다. 물론 게임상 여자들이 주인공에게 끌리면서 유혹을 하지만, 상황이 심각하면 일단 제지해야 되는데 이 새끼는 그런 게 없어요. 예를 들어 주인공이 중요한 진실을 밝히면서 히로인과 감정이 틀어지고 심각한 상황인데도 그 와중에도 다른 누군가가 자기를 조금만 유혹하면 바로 넘어가서 박아댑니다. 심지어 정신적인 충격으로 몸도 제대로 가누지 못하는 상태에서도 떡은 칩니다. 그것도 절친이 보는 앞에서 절친의 엄마를요. 물론 그 친구라는 놈도 자기 엄마에게 욕정을 품는 변태 새끼인 건 마찬가지인데 주인공과의 우정을 택하기 때문에 주인공이 자기 엄마를 따먹어도 쿨하게 이해하고 용서합니다. 그럼 주인공은 양심이 있으면 안 해야 되는데, '그럼 앞으로도 너네 엄마랑 해도 괜찮아?' 이런 반응이에요 그리고 그에 대한 보답으로 친구 엄마를 따먹을 때 친구한테도 한 입 줍니다. 뭔 시발 아이스크림이야?? 마치 선심 쓰듯 친구 엄마를 친구랑 공유해서 3P는 하지만 지 엄마나 여동생은 절대 공유하지 않고요. [strike]씨발놈..[/strike] 더욱이 후반부에는 지 친구가 다른 여자 따먹는 행동이 타임라인에 영향을 준다고 비난합니다. 정작 자기는 친구 엄마부터 시작해서 다 따먹고 다녔으면서 말이죠. 개 양아치 새끼가 따로 없습니다. 엔딩 때까지의 주인공의 만행을 전부 정리하자면 ([b]스포를 원치 않으시다면 절대 보지 마세요[/b]) [spoiler][list] [*]아빠 몰래 엄마하고 바람피움, 과거의 엄마와 사귀고 과거의 엄마를 임신 시킴, 현재의 엄마도 임신 시킴 [*]여동생하고 비밀 연애, 여동생 임신 시킴 [*]절친한 친구의 엄마와 딸을 따먹음, 심지어 친구의 딸도 임신 시킴 [*]현재와 과거에서 전부 엄마의 친구들하고도 성관계. [*]타임라인의 영향으로 진실인지는 알 수 없으나 자기의 딸도 따먹음 --> 자기의 딸 임신 시킴 [*]할머니, 외할머니, 고모랑도 성관계, 외할머니는 임신 시킴[/list] 네.. 이 어처구니 없는 전개에 따라 주인공의 누나와 이모가 동시에 주인공의 딸이기도 합니다. 이 좆같은 새끼는 도덕적인 딜레마에 진짜 몇 초만 흔들리고 바로 구멍으로 파고듭니다. 과거에서 엄마랑 사귀는 와중에 고모와 떡을 치는 걸 아빠한테 들켰는데 정작 아빠한테 한다는 소리가 [i]'Juliana(엄마)한테는 비밀로 해줘'[/i] ....얘는 진짜 고추 잘라야 돼요.[/spoiler] [h3]마무리 지으며..[/h3] 터미네이터, 스타게이트, 폴아웃 등등.. 여러 가지 영화와 게임들의 패러디가 상당히 많이 등장합니다. 그러면서도 상표권 침해는 무서워해서 스파이더 맨은 타란툴라 맨이라고 표현하죠. 뭐 전체적으로 게임 자체는 무난했어요. 비록 후반부에 조금이지만 AI 도입을 시도해 본 게 거슬렸지만요. 솔직히 가격을 제외하고 챕터 1과 2를 전부 합쳐서 게임성만 따지면 Tier - A 급이라고 생각해요. 아무리 개막장이라고 해도 말이죠. 어쨌건 야겜의 본질은 충족시켰으니까요. 하지만 개인적으로는 비싼 가격과, 역겹고 애미 뒤진 스토리, 줘패고 싶은 주인공 새끼 때문에 추천을 눌러주고 싶지가 않습니다. 게임을 하다가 진짜 입에서 실소가 터지며, 뇌를 거치지 않고 욕이 나오던 스크립트를 끝으로 리뷰를 마치겠습니다. Really wish I could give this a recommend (but) vote because this game does so much right, right up till the ending. It felt like all the work I did in building up relationships and making decisions was just thrown out the window in order to sequel bait. Starting a harem family with Julia and the rest only to have the devs say JK and Alt+F4 our story just to set up a "course corrected" ending. All of the drama and character building, all the plot twists and build up of the story, just to get that ending. I don't care if I'm in the minority on this one but that ending killed it for me. I'll give it a recommend for like 98% of the game but that ending was garbage. If they decide to make another one of these I will not be around to meet it at the airport.

Personally I didnt like to much like the fist one because at the end became too repetitive and boring and the price is really hight(10 will be perfect for a regular price).

A fun story with a lot of twists in it. A lot of action as well. Many times, I thought the story was going to end and then something else came up to continue the story line. I had only one help from the developer who was watching the discussion threads. A big difference in past games played.
